In reply to Post #6 That’s a good idea mate, I thought that maybe the fox leads may be only ones that fit the boom section but will make myself a boom like you’ve said.

In reply to Post #1 Thanks for the replies guys.
I've bought one of each so I can use on 2 rods and see how I go with them.
I did see what Scott888 is saying about not all leads will fit onto the Fox boom. First lead I tried wouldn't so I've made up another boom using the top hockey stick from the Fox boom and some 25lb Korda Boom with a snap swivel at the bottom.
All leads will fit now so hopefully it will work well.

Can only talk of the Korda one as I have not used any others. Have had no issues with it and still going strong. Simple to use and have confidence in it.

In reply to Post #3 On the Korda one there is a small opaque square on the float to stick a pva nugget on. Trap your hook and bait under this and no tangle problems, provided you stop the lead and feel it down.

In reply to Post #1 There’s not much difference IMO, fox has a cool feature where you can use bit of pva foam and loop hook length so doesn’t tangle, only downside is their boom doesn’t fit many leads.
