Pingewood was covered quite comprehensively in his diary piece in angling times at the time tbf, still would of been nice to read it again though.....i forgive him the ivy pool chapter makes up for it

Pingewood where the brute and Jockey lived and dintons where swan.

Mine arrived via my secret santa who blew the budget to get it for me... no doubt a favour will be asked for in return!

I think it's brilliant - so well written. Some of the stories are familiar from his ESP videos and other things but am thoroughly enjoying it.

Wow.
Another strange twist of fate, and nature, big volume of water. More special carp gone.
Big S now assigned to the written archives of history.

I did find it highly unusual that every fish Iíve ever seen out of the big S was a stunner, almost hand selected.

Went strait to the bid S chapter , somewhere I got chucked off once , but had I known the score would have chanced my arm again . The reason ? , because I put some fish in there , scaley lovely young fish from the lake at the back. It was due to be filled in , and I had permission to fish it , I caught half a dozen fish and it seemed silly to put them back , so in the big S they went . A non starter these days , but over 30 years ago things were slightly different
