In reply to Post #8 Also look into the lake reaper. Have a little read up on said boat. You may be impressed.

In reply to Post #1 Take a look at the Carptechnics bait boats, I’ve been using the SB3 for a few years now and it’s never let me down, they do a slightly smaller on called the SB4 that’s an interesting concept and a well proven track record now.

In reply to Post #4 Agree that Actor thing seems to be getting good reviews and certainly looks worth a punt for occasional use at £180!
Upping the budget, I also note a couple of boat repairers/modders are doing a lot of work and singing the praises of the New Direction ND2 boat. Looks like a £499 price tag.

In reply to Post #1 Like you I know little to nothing but have considered getting one for French trips and the Actor bait boat seems to get pretty good reviews and a fair bit cheaper than most of the others

Have never used one , know nothing about them but one could be of valuable use now.
I would be using it on a big loch for taking out deadbaiting rigs.
Any help on finding one for this
Above all must be fit for purpose and be reliable
Thanks.
