Agree that Actor thing seems to be getting good reviews and certainly looks worth a punt for occasional use at 180!

Upping the budget, I also note a couple of boat repairers/modders are doing a lot of work and singing the praises of the New Direction ND2 boat. Looks like a 499 price tag.

Like you I know little to nothing but have considered getting one for French trips and the Actor bait boat seems to get pretty good reviews and a fair bit cheaper than most of the others

Budget plays a big part. Also you after gps/sonar etc?

Have never used one , know nothing about them but one could be of valuable use now.
I would be using it on a big loch for taking out deadbaiting rigs.
Any help on finding one for this
Above all must be fit for purpose and be reliable
