In reply to Post #4 Its not the easiest of fishing to be fair, they have a lot of water to get in and you can only cover a small area. Personally I'd head an hour south east for better fishing

In reply to Post #2 Hi Mike thanks for youre message.im really pleased you did ok around perrone.im still a bit obsessed with the somme canal and going back to feauilliers. i would like to have ago around cappy as well.i didnt catch any carp day or night this is why im a bit perplexed knowing they are there.ive allways fished rivers .drains anywhere for carp so i thought i had enuogh experiance never mind thanks

Hi can anybody give me any advise on catching some carp on the somme canal.i have fished at frise and,feauillier i didnt catch carp there .am i in the right sections of the canal or do i need to try else where on the canal cheers
