In reply to Post #5 Thanks chaps. Good info. I'm not one of the spod the crap out of it regardless of conditions brigade, so the light approach will suit me 🙂.

In reply to Post #1 I’ve fished it on occasion since before it was opened. Back then it was much easier (as you would expect!) and has got trickier each time as the fish have received pressure.
My personal advice for it would be to make as little disturbance as possible, and to go light with the bait.
Definitely make sure you are all spread out so the fish can’t just sit off the pressure.
Last time I fished (last May) I had two fish off a spot baited with 2 spombs per day. I’ve also done better with bottom baits than pop ups (though depends on your baiting situation)
Stock wise I’m not sure - I don’t know what the numbers quoted have been but they will know the number stocked, what was taken out (it was originally a stock pond as public access wasn’t possible initially and a reasonable idea of what has passed on over the years. .
Definitely more of a day water than a night/early morning bite time in our experience.

In reply to Post #3 Problem is now on there is that you have sponsored anglers (the firm paying), fishing it during the week outside of the booking process, so it's going to be a lot trickier than it was.....

In reply to Post #2 Mates of mine booked on Jct 12 this summer four of them had the lake for 3 nights I think it was, three blanked and one caught a small stocky out the edge stalking, not the easiest by all accounts.

In reply to Post #1 Junction 12 perhaps?
Not as easy as some make out, can't offer much in the way of tips as we all blanked on there for 2 48hr sessions. Suspect the stocking isn't as suggested, in fact no where near.
Best of luck..

Hi chaps. A friend has booked us onto Junction 13 for end of October. I know there are a few vids out on the lake. Anyone have advice for fishing the lake? Cheers. G
