In reply to Post #8 Turn the news on the TV they had a really good Q&A on it

OBVIOUSLY if your fishing for a week you AINT transiting surely you can see that ?

In reply to Post #7 Hmmm.
The transiting section seems to be a different section though.
The word transiting isn't mentioned in the private vehicles section at all.

In reply to Post #6 If I went to a public lake for a week
YES you would need to self isolate as you were not transiting !

In reply to Post #5 Has anyone read the government page, the section about private vehicles.
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-travel-corridors
Private vehicles
You don’t need to self-isolate if you travel through a non-exempt country and you don’t stop in the country.
If you do make a stop, you don’t need to self-isolate if:
no new people get into the vehicle
no-one in the vehicle gets out, mixes with other people, and gets in again
You do need to self-isolate if you make a stop and:
new people get into the vehicle, or
someone gets out of the vehicle, mixes with other people and gets in again
If I went to a public lake for a week and didn't see another soul and didn't stop for fuel or food. Could I come back and not have to self isolate?
