In reply to Post #1 i had one for a few years, the club i was in had a few meres that had boats on for us to use, i had no trouble with mine, go for the one that has 56lb thrust, in a decent wind you'll be greatful for the extra power

The tiller was quite high on the one i had Dean so you may need box to stand on

In reply to Post #2 In fairness mine will only get used once a year in France for the week, so I would think I wouldn't have reliability issues, I was wondering if they are the best option money wise ?

Hi, has anyone got any experience of these outboard motors ? A few of the ones I was interested in, like the Bison and Haswing are out of stock everywhere, and I need to get one by end of next month.
