Chester Lakes Doddleston has hard standing (gravel) on all pegs and electric hook up if you want it, very close to the club house too. The average stamp of fish in here used to be bigger and when I fished it small hook baits were the better option, might not be the best option for easily bored kids though and you can get boozed up anglers on it overnight, again a consideration with kids.
I can't remember it's name but don't ignore the 1st pond as you come in (near the camping pods), grass bank, few surprises and the kids can go feral while you keep a eye on the as it's pretty flat

Hi all,
Does know of any camp sites that allow camping next to a lake or even a river?
Not to fussed on location, based in midlands but happy to travel for the right location. Doesn’t have to be full of monsters just looking for a nice view out the tent and somewhere to wet a line with the kids on a family camping weekend.
Many thanks in advance
