Mainline and Korda have basically used the colour as a visual display of the flavour/oil dispersing in the water which looks impressive and catches a lot of anglers. However any glug and oil will be doing exactly the same just without the visual aspect. To me it’s just another gimmick and a total waste of money. If it helps anyone feel confident then maybe it’s worth it

Just for a bit of fun mate, you could get some lambs milk replacer powder and Dissolve 250g into 150ml of water and add a few ml of flavour and a ml of sweetener with colour of choice if you wish.. What you'll end up with is something very very similar to the smart liquid for a fraction of the cost.. I've been doing this for some time on baits as a glug or as advertised in sticks, groundbait, pellets etc and it works very well indeed.

I've seen the list of ingredients and it seems it's whey, fats and flavours!! Can't help thinking it's lamlac with a flavour and preservative.. That would behave exactly how they describe it on the advert.

I got given a bottle a while ago by one of there field testers and the spout got quite clogged up I used it in spod mix and found it a good addition to it very cloudy and great smell. I had the fruity yellow one and once it hits the shelves will be getting the same one

I was given about quarter of a bottle of it about 2 years ago by a good friend who was a tester for them, don't know if it was the final product or not but I had a good result with it when using it on sticks on a runs water.

Tried to butter him up to get me a full bottle to try again but never got anywhere with it. From memory I dont think it had any flavour as such so probably just the base liquid when they were testing.

Couple of my mates have had them for about a year and they like them. Originally they were to be supplied with a pump nozzle (like hand wash bottles have) but believe they were having grief with them clogging up and becoming unusable, hence the delay in release and a different nozzle now

I saw the Mainline video on YouTube introducing the Smart Liquids.

Are they already for sale in the shops?

Did someone already use them?
