The Exocet we are using is the 15 lb to 35 Very impressed so far and you are able to reverse it should anything happen or the line starts to wear etc

The tapered mainlines from Korda, Fox etc are spot on for this. You would not need to change anything else.

What I have done in the past is fish an in-line lead and mount your hook link swivel on the stiff insert coming out the back of the lead, put a tail rubber on but not fully so there is still travel, hope that makes sense? You also have the option of adding tubing.

Depending on where you get your leads some companies inserts are quite long which gives you more play if fishing softer areas or they can be sourced.

I was never particularly happy with fishing naked rotary rigs, am sure some companies now make plastic beads / spigot for this very reason?

Depending on what tour fishing over a lead-clip will work.

A new water im fishing has a leader ban.

My usual set up that i have total confidence in is a heli set up with lead free leader and a stiff boom ronnie rig.

Should i either go over to a leadclip with tubing, if so i guess the ronnie would need a supple boom?

Or should i go naked 15lb straight through fishing my usual set up but without the leader

What would you do?
