couldn't agree more, same as stringers, confined to the waste bin of Carp Fishing history forever hopefully

If by any chance you see me using 1 it's just to remind myself of how crap they are

I even bought a shed load of Avid method feeders when they were at risk of stopping making them, purely to sell on at inflated prices once they were vogue again...silly boy!!!

Hi David

Absolutely crap method of fishing, never worked in the first place especially for large carp, too much action on the buzzers ruining battery life to enjoy a quiet session and far too much action on the rods to be written about on a public forum.
Best kept secrets should be just that....secret
Comeback? not sure where they went.......

Best

Jon

15 or so years ago I would see loads of anglers casting out massive great method balls and we all caught well on them, however in the last 5 years i havent seen a single one (in my own tackle box included) outside of the match scene. I reckon they could be an edge now- maybe they'll make a comeback! Was brilliant watching the bobbin flick for 15 mins before getting a screamer!
