Particle baits will slow them down but you will still pick the odd one up. Personally I'd just fish with tigers and nothing else, just to try and stop the silvers moving in and attracting the cats

Maize and chick peas as well might be a good bet

Hi folks

Have any of you had any joy with finding a bait that catfish avoid but carp are enthusiastic about? Iím fishing a lake with a head of both, and Iím trying to target just the carp.

My first trip saw a couple of cats turn up on fruity singles fished over a nutmix (so nothing remotely fishy, with not a pellet in sight).

Rather naively Iím wondering if tigers and hemp might be the one, but I suspect I might be being a touch optimistic!
