Try the western at Horton Kirby, I believe the carp are are a bit bigger in there. Next best would be baldwins at Dartford lakes

Baldwins Lake. There are literally thousands of fish in there. Anything from 4lb fish up to twenties.

It's not a syndicate by the way, and the Brooklands complex also allows day tickets, so it is busy year round.

Hi, just joined DDAPS and had my first session on the Dads and Lads lake (Banjo Lake) with my 8 year old son.

He is mad about fishing and loved the session. Fished from midday to 6pm and caught 7 Carp mostly 3lb to 5lb with one being 8lb.

Whilst we enjoyed catching and will go back to Banjo lake many times, can someone recommend which other lakes in the syndicate would be a good next step for catching bigger fish but minimising blanks? I saw almost no activity on the neighbouring lake to the Banjo lake during the session.

I would rather him catch a few 15lb fish rather than blank aiming for the 30lb+ fish. We can only do day fishing at the moment.

The DDAPS members forum seems a little quiet.

Thanks
