Perhaps for balance they should’ve put an edl supporter on the spot and asked about somebody like Marcus Garvey. Communities often only educate to suit their agenda as greekski has pointed out and why I think history is dangerous for developing minds.

You need to be heated to around 85 degrees for a couple of minutes, then cooled and kept in an airtight container. Or something like that.

She could be asked about those things but I doubt statue and street names were mentioned on the job spec.

She's Chair of Lambeth independent police advisory group so she may be asked about statues and street names.

I can see this going into yet another tit for tat in this thread, so I'm done and will allow others to have the last word

Thanks Keebs

Shameless popcorn-grabbing job on my part, posting that vid within a vid.

There's a little something for everyone isn't there?

I'm not excusing her lack of knowledge tinhead. Like I said I doubt that lambeth council seek her advice on matters of British history. More likely on matters of local community.

And I did also put the loony coco pops woman in the bin with no objection then.

At least this lady isn't in a position to make decisions that affect the country like .... well, take your pick really

And if he feels strongly about this one woman saying something dumb on tv then that's ok for him. He can put that news item in the bin.

Peace and love man. Have a good day.

Mal stop throwing stuff in the bin that doesn't meet your agenda.
If it's a one off like you say it is maybe, just maybe he feels strongly about it?
If he's done this many times then you would say he's biased.
Either way you'd bin it

The worrying thing is this woman, the job she's doing and the way the TV interviewer let her off the hook.
