In reply to Post #831 Love the Edison Lighthouse track - and it gives us the opportunity to say thankyou to Mary Quant too
I'm having a Dan Reed Network morning. Hugely underrated band IMHO. Really loved their stuff late 80's / early 90's. Very funky (some good bass lines for you keebs) with some great rock guitar and a hippy vibe... I mean, what's not to like?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnBZvbn5xjs - rainbow child (bloomin' hippies ...)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-Xav5OsTYo - ritual (probably my fave of theirs)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuxO5SYagAM - make it easy (super funky)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OupRj7DeNq4 - Long Way to Go (simple acoustic genius)

In reply to Post #835 I was until I saw that video, now I'm not so sure.
Maybe a Stranglers Mark 3 completely stripped down to basics without keyboards.
It's all about the bass

In reply to Post #829 As I was listening to Godley and Crème and their other stuff appeared on the right hand side of the screen.
Looking back they did not some really good singles, by far the better half of 10CC
