There is a 15 day restriction on making journeys in france from 17th march?

So, you'll not be going to a french venue any time soon

Current advice -

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/france
There is an ongoing outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) in France. The French Government outlined new measures on 16 March to stem the spread of coronavirus, including restricting the movement of people from midday 17 March for 15 days to journeys that are absolutely necessary, such as food shopping, seeking medical care, journeys to work where working from home is not possible, or exercising. The French Government has said it will enforce these measures and fine those who are not compliant. The French Government will provide further guidance on how these measures will be enforced. Travellers should follow instructions of the French authorities.

On 16 March, the French Government announced that the EU would suspend travel between the EU and non-European countries for an initial period of 30 days from midday 17 March. The French Government confirmed that these restrictions will not apply to UK nationals. We will update our advice with details of any EU measures when confirmed.

As it currently stands all travel between all Schengen EU Countries (border less with France like Germany, Belgium etc) is banned including Switzerland which is part of this border less Schengen agreement but not in the EU.

However, the UK isn't part of this agreement and doesn't fall within this restriction as we have a border so all UK to France crossings via the ferries and tunnel are still open and as normal. There are some on-board restrictions to passenger numbers and some operators have a limited timetable.

If your French lake is still open for business (they are currently not legally forced to close) and the roads are currently open and unrestricted within France and most fuel stations are now only operating a pay at the pump service but as far as we see the situation it's business as usual.

We recommend that you take as many provisions as you can so you don't have the visit supermarkets etc but if you do need to, the venue should be able to print you off a document entitling you to travel to stock up on provisions without any travel issues from the French police.

Hope this helps as there are many differing reports on what is closed. Things may change daily so keep an eye on the social channel for all the crossing operators.

Brussels had announced earlier on Monday it had proposed closing the EU's borders to stop the spread of coronavirus but said a decision would not be made until the next day.

The UK's Foreign Office said the UK is not included in the closure and told Britons in mainland Europe to continually monitor travel advice as it is changing rapidly.

Doesn't affect us yet but for how long is anyone's guess

Seems I may have been misinformed?
I hope it stays open and can travel as I am booked via the tunnel
Luckily the lake owner is a decent bloke and has offered to reschedule my booking to next year so not too bad.
Iím not holding out much hope though, fingers crossed 🤞

Where have you seen this?
Website makes no mention of it?
Just seen that is only on certain crossings, not a blanket closure of sailings!

Lol so they closed borders with all countries that are battling virus with closed schools, restaurants etc and left open border with probably the only country in the world without any actions to stop spreading the virus... I am sure they are not that stupid...
