BB, I think that's tree times you've mentioned Diane Abbot in a thread about coronavirus. She may be crap, but she has no responsibility for the PPE stockrooms in hospitals around the country being empty, for the fact that Johnson was on holiday when all this kicked off and stayed there, for an immigration policy fronted by Priti Patel that a month ago demonised the very people he's so grateful to today, etc etc.

There was no lack of woeful politicians in Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet, what is it about Diane Abbot that gets on your nerves so much? Is it because she's a woman? Something else?

You can't separate politics from the effects of coronavirus.

The UK has worse daily death rates that Italy had, despite the fact that Italy had little time to prepare, and the UK is performing much worse than Germany. Why? the answer is 'politics'.

Hi Greekskii,

"I think you missed your own point "

I think you have lost the plot.

In your efforts to try and discredit my post, you twist my words and include those of your own invention to create your own version that suits your narrative.

The data I gave, showed a reduction in nurse vacancies and a record number of nurses now working in the NHS, up by over 8000 from last year.

I think you're losing this argument too.
Time for another tactical withdrawal.

BB.

RIP in to Abbott all you want but priti Patel said a made up number in her press conference. Those in glass houses and all that.

P.s. I’d love a response to post #1266 BB. I would love to see how you try and defend your own contradiction

That's where you are missing the point becuses if this governent had not underfunded the NHS for 10 years. Followed up on the 2016 test to see if we can deal with what we are dealing with now and followed WHO advise we would not be where we are now with this Virus. I can't think of anything more polictical then this right now.
If people want say what a great hero Boris is and put their head in the sand then do be it

He didn't need to find evidence it was presented to him on several occasions but did nothing with it. Savile was friends of the rich and powerful Inc Ted Heath among many others.

You doubt health professionals are leaving the NHS over terms and conditions in the last 10 years in vast numbers? I don't.

Hi Ocelot,

" Data analysed by Labour "

Who was responsible for that, Dianne Abbott?

The figures I pasted were from the Dept of Health and Social Care.

Do you really think they just make them up on the back of a fag packet?

Hi Sir B,

Yes, I agree with that.

I quite like the look of Keir Starmer and as a " soft left " supporter, I think he will appeal to a wider spectrum of the electorate, who seem tired of Momentum and the hard left. Removing Dianne Abbott from his shadow cabinet was a sensible move and probably earned him a lot of votes already.
I'm impressed with the fact that he graduated from Oxford with a law degree, then became a QC, and then to Head of the Crown Prosecution Service and Director of Public Prosecutions.
He's obviously no fool and probably a good orator, so Boris and co will need to put on their game face.
We need a credible opposition in parliament to keep the government honest.

I think you missed your own point. You’ve just said a foreign nurse shouldn’t be working here and then quoted figures which include foreign nurses in them saying there is more than ever. But you said they were taking jobs from the young ambitious nurses of British nationality?

In any case. With all that incentive you’ve just quoted, which I said anyway, why is there still no room for training nurses? If there is loads being trained and a shortfall of nurses annually reported?

You do talk out your backside sometimes. You’ve contradicted your own point? No amount of facts and figures hides your contraction and inability to understand what yourself, let alone anyone else is saying. How embarrassing for you
