The Chloe Middleton case is something that worried me a lot over the past few days as to what we are actually being told. The morning she died, my son told me a 21 year old had died with zero previous health problems in Buckinghamshire, which was worrying. This was not mentioned on the news at all until much later in the day... And then ONLY because of a Facebook post by the poor girls mother. All of the news reports about that poor girl made a point of saying it was from a Facebook post. As far as I'm aware, if the mother had not of made that post, the general public would never have even known about it.

Now as you say they are saying it was not the virus, and newspaper stories about it are being wiped. It's all a bit strange. They are clearly doing their best to avoid panic. Surely it's better for people to know the truth, however bad that truth is?

Are the figures being manipulated !

i am hearing from a few different news sources that they are not counting some corona virus deaths , as with the case of Chloe Middleton , the guardian have taken down their article highlighting this , are they being leaned on ??? Yep mate they're frantically trying to get more hospital facilities sorted. My son's an electrical engineer he was seconded onto the new Royal hospital, Liverpool on Monday with 30 sparks. They we're laid off Wednesday as social distancing couldn't be maintained. Yesterday they were all asked if they wanted to go back on site as they desperately need it finished for the week after Easter. Under no pressure they were told they could stay laid off on 80% pay or go back in, with key worker status on days and nights and help to finish 2 floors of the hospital. They all started back this morning. I've asked if I can get on the job as I served my time as an electrical engineer. Hopefully I'll start on Monday as my new job has been put on hold so doing nothing else!

It's very scary mate. All of these figures, are only on tested patients. The simple truth is, only people in hospitals are being tested. There are infinitely more cases than that, that are currently at home with the virus. Until you cannot breath, you are being told to stay at home by the visiting paramedics. My boy told me the other day, approximately one in ten patients that he visits currently suspected of having the virus are being taken into hospital, only the most serious cases. That figure is falling every single day, as the hospitals become over loaded. It can have up to a two week incubation period, and the virus itself comes in three stages even when mild symptoms start. This happens over a period of time. Many tens of thousands are currently at home with mild symptoms, which could be far worse in a couple of weeks time when you look at how the virus works.

This is why they are currently rushing through 4000 bed emergency hospitals to try and cope with where this is all heading. Where ever we are now currently, this is going to be a complete mess in a months time. They know what is coming, and there is no way of stopping it apart from us gaining herd immunity. For that to happen, so many people are going to have to die first worldwide.

Horrible times, money and trivial things like that do not matter anymore. There are going to be many thousands of Brits, who wished that they had taken this far more seriously recently in a few weeks time. It was only a week ago that our parks/public places etc, were still full to the rafters. The supermarkets are still packed. Facebook/social media is still full up with conspiracy theories, as though this is all some weird plan of the global elite. Through man kinds history this has happened repeatedly... The plague, Spanish flu etc... The difference now is that our world is a completely different place, world travel is at an all time high compared to back then... It has allowed the spread of the virus all around the world at an absolutely alarming rate compared to previous historic pandemics. Look at New York, just a couple of weeks ago the USA was barely affected... Now New York is totally overwhelmed.

No one should underestimate where all this is heading as you say.

Well in with the PPE donation Keith
The hollowing out of UK manufacturing in the race for profit has been high on many peoples agenda for 40 years. Our government is full of free marketeers at the moment. A major rethink is surely on the cards and political ideologies reassessed.

Harrowing Mark. If I ever meet your son I'm buying the 🍻
Regards figures, I was shown this site last week and have no reason to doubt the figures.

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

It currently shows 13,689 active COVID-19 cases in the UK.
It also shows closed cases in the UK at 894. 135 recovered/ discharged 15%. 759 deaths 85%.
Some of the other countries comparisons are miles out if you look, especially China. I know these figures are as it develops at the start, and mortality rate and survival rate will swap. You cannot underestimate this situation.

That's all I keep telling him Mal. How much I love him, and how proud I am of him.

I keep telling him that it's all going to be okay, he keeps replying that it's really not going to be okay though, that in a few weeks time it's going to be absolutely horrific. He has his blood test on Tuesday, I'm praying from a personal perspective, that he has previously had the virus. There's a good chance he has, seeing as he is around it constantly all day everyday.

That does not stop his fear though, seeing people die a horrid death, and knowing that could be your end too due to being so close to it all constantly, is having a horrible mental effect on him. I've listened to him go through a whole host of personal feelings over the past week... From hope and 'we can beat this'... To total and utter despair last night. The night before he was so overjoyed at the public all being on their doorsteps clapping frontline staff.

I've spoken to him this morning, he is back in work. He seems in a much more positive place than he was last night. But this is clearly having a big strain mentally on our medical staff, including him.

I never stop telling him to stay safe currently mate.

What do you tell him?

Tell him you love him.

Tell him that people he has never met are incredibly grateful for what he's doing.

And tell him to stay safe.

No mate, home counties. But he is being drafted into London duties next week. London cannot cope as things stand. They are drafting in paramedics to London from all over the country early next week.

I had a very emotional phone call with my son last night... He's twenty four, and it's the first time I have heard him cry since he was a child. He really cannot deal mentally with what is going on right now being a paramedic in the UK. He is very angry to, angry that the figures which we are being shown on MSM are totally skewed to keep us all calm. According to my son, there is one British hospital with over 600 confirmed cases. How this ties in with just 5000 nationally, is literally bonkers. According to my son, more and more cases are not elderly people with previous health problems... But instead totally healthy younger adults included. Patients he is attending over the past few days are dying now, at an alarming rate. A rate that is high enough to severely alarm my son, and make the real figures of death seem like fantasy to him. He is currently being asked to be a 'doctor' daily now, doing procedures that a paramedic would never normally be asked to do.

It is commonly accepted now among medical staff, that the only way this will stop, is by herd immunity. For this to happen, a high proportion of our population, need to get the antibodies from a recovered virus infection. When they say they are going to test all NHS frontline workers, this is what they are actually testing for, the antibodies to a previous infection, not a current positive for the virus unless they are at home with serious symptoms. If they tested for a current positive virus infection, our NHS would collapse tomorrow my son told me. They simply cannot afford for that to happen. Spain and Italy are running at around 15% of total cases being frontline medical staff. Everything we are hearing on MSM, is designed specifically to keep the general public calm. If public order descends into chaos, then things will obviously be far worse.

At the moment, even on the skewed figures we are being shown, deaths are doubling every three to four days. They are only testing people in hospital, who are seriously ill though. People are starting to die in their homes now, at an ever increasing rate.

At the end of our conversation, my son begged me over and over not to go out, even for food now. He asked that we order our food online. Anything whatsoever that we can do, to avoid leaving the house. All whilst crying his eyes out uncontrollably, he's not normally an emotional man in the slightest. It is the most horrific way of dying he told me, a death that you would wish on no one.The emotional strain on him is monstrous currently... It made me so sad last night when I got off of the phone from him. What do you tell your child, to ease the fears they have... When you yourself are clueless to the enormity of the problem.

Please stay at home, keep your family safe and around you.
