They sold out of masks at my local Screwfix but the shop assistant had a good idea, he said that he had some duct tape that in my case would do the trick

It did make me chuckle the other day, screwfix had a sign up saying mask sales are limited to 5 per customer

I might wear a full blown respirator for the next Chelsea game

I didn't even take a face mask..my other post meant I was on buses with others masked up..took hand sanitiser but only used it twice. I honestly think this whole virus thing is just blown out of proportion..think of the money notes we all handle each day, how many hands has that been through..if you are fit and have a healthy immune system anyone is fine..I have actually got a face ache 30 day ban for commenting on one of my travel pages stating about Koreans spitting in the streets' didn't word it nasty but apparently I was being classed as racist..also Vietnam airlines allow minors from the age of 2 to 12 to fly alone on their aircraft.as I know after having 2 asian brothers aged 5 and 9 kicking the back of my seat for 9 hours..how do we close our borders with that allowed...

According to a UK expert the masks are a waste of time as air can get around them and your eyes are exposed. The beat way to beat the bugs is to frequently wash your hands in antibacterial hand wash.

Not sure I'd wash my eyes with it though.

There are mutterings about closing country boarders - that'd but the kibosh on our French trips.

Love how you moved seamlessly from 'The poor parts of any country' to 'one couple from Sheffield ' ....

yes had a good time, the virus wasn't going to stop me going..im a stubborn sod and don't get in a flap about anything..spent some days travelling on buses rammed with locals, all masked up I still didn't feel at risk..only thing I will say is. I'm keeping a wide berth from any Koreans on my next trips for a while..they are very dirty, most had a habit of gobbing where they wanted..on the streets in any waste bin.. and thats the women and kids aswell.

I'm still alive..only thing I caught was ankles full of mozzie bites . I stayed in nah trang but spoke to many English who was travelling all around nam and Cambodia..all said the same thing, its much quieter than before the virus broke out. hardly any Chinese. I spent a couple of days walking around the poor parts of nah trang. proper **** hole parts. (no disrespect to them by the way) I like seeing the poor parts of any country..one couple from Sheffield have 8 more nights in nam(been there 12 days) then they are flying on to Singapore, no ill effects...

if anyone is interested in what's really going on with the virus take a look at
' KOREANA JONES' on you tube.

Or this one! Shocking really.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ657zRTwWs

Its hell of a lot worse than anyone is letting on in the media..
