I dont think they are saying you can return to work but after 7 days the guideline at the moment is the first in the household can go out to shops etc .
A fact that has just come out is that in china the age group that got it most was 45-60 the least was 80 and over ! However the most deaths were in the 70 and over.
The problem we have in the uk is how do you know you have had it ?
I have developed a stinking cold , (more a sore throat though)headache hot sweats , have i got it ? Probably not but i wont be flying down the shops to do granny mcduffs shopping for her.

Is that a fact that Jeff, after 7 days they can return to work?

I thought it was that all the family would have it and be rid of it, hopefully, within a 14 period if they self isolated?

If they live in the same household, are they not a carrier after 7 days even if they are living with people who have it?

Yep the 14 is for incubation , the one who gets it first can go out after 7 days , thats if they survive it ! Hard times ahead im afraid , normality will resume for most but not for all im afraid.

Lots of reports of the army moving in, a few different videos showing troops walking down northcote Road, Clapham Junction.
I don't know to what extent we'll get locked, I'm trying frantically to get a kitchen up and running for a young family with a newborn, if it's a full stay at home quarantine I'll be painting plaster while it's going on the wall

Well, the company where I work has kind of made some kind of decision

If you live by yourself and you have symptoms itís a 7 day isolation

Live with family itís 14. Makes my decision easier, a little bit!

Bet my bottom dollar it will be to late by the time we have a national shutdown....

Latest rumour on radio 5 is that London is to be locked down as they have done with places in Europe.

Lots of schools sending part of the student cohort home as staff numbers drop and ratios demand it. It seems that for many they are trying for to get to the planned easter holiday but it may be impossible

Need most people to catch it to start getting back to normal but the Gov plan is for this to be staggered so the NHS dont get swamped with patients but dont think that is going to be possible.........Im still waiting to see it really spread through China as they have merely delayed it by locking down the Wuhan province and are yet to be really infected.....Economies going to ****, food shortages and then the great PURGE is insight.....

Schools are closing this week , children actually do catch it , it just does,nt affect them as badly as long as they are in good health .
You are right though they do want most people to get it.

Well I certainly hope the last two sentences are correct, as I won't be alive to worry about it if it returns in 10 years time...And the sooner it vanishes without trace the better.

There's also the Dean Koontz book 'The Eyes Of Darkness' doing the rounds at the moment where he had a man made virus taking over the world, people are also including the screenshot below, which is actually from 'End Of Days: Predictions And Prophecies About The End Of The World', a 2008 book by self-professed psychic Sylvia Browne, not sure which is weirder.

Have you seen what those racketeers on Amazon are charging for a bag of 80 Yorkshire Gold Teabags?

We normally pay around £6.50 for 160 bags!

Scandalous

BTW, has anyone read The Stand by Steven King...Eerie or what? First published in 1978.

I wish he'd tell me the Lottery numbers while I can still spend the loot!and
