I had a very emotional phone call with my son last night... He's twenty four, and it's the first time I have heard him cry since he was a child. He really cannot deal mentally with what is going on right now being a paramedic in the UK. He is very angry to, angry that the figures which we are being shown on MSM are totally skewed to keep us all calm. According to my son, there is one British hospital with over 600 confirmed cases. How this ties in with just 5000 nationally, is literally bonkers. According to my son, more and more cases are not elderly people with previous health problems... But instead totally healthy younger adults included. Patients he is attending over the past few days are dying now, at an alarming rate. A rate that is high enough to severely alarm my son, and make the real figures of death seem like fantasy to him. He is currently being asked to be a 'doctor' daily now, doing procedures that a paramedic would never normally be asked to do.

It is commonly accepted now among medical staff, that the only way this will stop, is by herd immunity. For this to happen, a high proportion of our population, need to get the antibodies from a recovered virus infection. When they say they are going to test all NHS frontline workers, this is what they are actually testing for, the antibodies to a previous infection, not a current positive for the virus unless they are at home with serious symptoms. If they tested for a current positive virus infection, our NHS would collapse tomorrow my son told me. They simply cannot afford for that to happen. Spain and Italy are running at around 15% of total cases being frontline medical staff. Everything we are hearing on MSM, is designed specifically to keep the general public calm. If public order descends into chaos, then things will obviously be far worse.

At the moment, even on the skewed figures we are being shown, deaths are doubling every three to four days. They are only testing people in hospital, who are seriously ill though. People are starting to die in their homes now, at an ever increasing rate.

At the end of our conversation, my son begged me over and over not to go out, even for food now. He asked that we order our food online. Anything whatsoever that we can do, to avoid leaving the house. All whilst crying his eyes out uncontrollably, he's not normally an emotional man in the slightest. It is the most horrific way of dying he told me, a death that you would wish on no one.The emotional strain on him is monstrous currently... It made me so sad last night when I got off of the phone from him. What do you tell your child, to ease the fears they have... When you yourself are clueless to the enormity of the problem.

Please stay at home, keep your family safe and around you.

I wear the disposable ffp3 masks for work as a builder have done for 25 years on a daily basis , i prepare for their use the night before , as in having a close shave ,vital ! also sometimes the valve can stick open , beware ! I had a stock of 100 ffp 3 mask's , can't believe what they are going for on ebay now up to 20 x their retail price , i have been giving em out , to friends family and a nurse i know ,feel to much of a cu*t exploiting the situation and ebaying them!
My nephew at Leeds uni had all the symptoms ,everyone came down with it in his house within 2 days , the majority had all the classic symptoms , persistent cough , temp ,but also the loss of smell and taste , his girlfriend was quite bad , not enough to go to hospital , she has a touch of asthma though ,none of them received a test , my other nephew , who is also at Leeds uni has a friend who tested positive in the early days , when we had some testing gear left ! he had been socializing and going to bars , clubs etc for 1 week before self isolating !

You'd just spray them with a surgical spirit and wipe

Military don't throw NBC Masks away after use.

I offered masks to a couple of health workers who visit an old couple near me, proper reusable ones, they couldn't take them as they have to bin them after each visit. Surely those masks can be disinfected regularly?

Those gloves of mine and your masks are at present much more use to protect others people than us

One of the main reasons for the utter chaos is all the essential equipment required i.e., gloves, Masks, protective clothing, even Gel bottles where all made in China!

Every countries supplier went for “Cheap & Cheerful” with the only priority being maximum profit.

Hence the total mess each county dropped itself in, the irony is a certain Mr. Trump warned of the vulnerabilities of relying on one source for everything four years ago, obviously he did not force production to come back to the US in time, as the US seems to have zero stock of PPE

If we ever see the other side of this mess, I hope governments have learned the lesson, and start insisting on home manufacture.

Well done Keith 👍

I had 10 FFP3 face masks at home and I went to the local doctors surgery and gave them to the doctors and reception staff. 👍

Is Boris and his bunch of idiots really ill or have they gone into hiding to avoid the coming shi*storm before the nhs is overwhelmed next week because of their idiotic herd immunity policy and running the nhs into the ground over the last 10 years !

Aldi is an even more illuminating experience
Latex gloves would be no use in there, they wouldn't cope with the friction while they launch your shopping out the door
