Told you guys weeks ago the 100k was a nonsensical figure to make it look like the government are acting.

If you had the virus and recovered from it would a test to see if you have it now show up as 'no'
Maybe they need the test that detects whether they've had it in the past?
Then there's the worry that whoever administered the test done it correctly or whether the actual test itself is reliable.

Anyway thanks to both of them for being there for us

There are recognized news outlets , which I use , and are usually mentioned in the news , within a day or two , the majority of these news outlets you would recite for your own agendas , when it suites .

Then there are "Wayne sources" , again , i won't be cruel , but putting the financial times , Telegraph , the guardian ,and Channel 4 on a par with sights like "godlikeproductions " is more than a bit silly !

keep it real Wayne !

My brother in law and his mrs were tested a few weeks back. He's a GP and she's an anaesthetist (but she was called onto the front line to care for covid patients). The both caught what they thought was the virus so got the test. The tests came back negative. They now believe the test is not effective as they're positive it was the virus.

My mate has just done the test, his work colleague was positive so the boss made them all get one. He booked one for him and his Mrs. Booked next day test and turned up all running smoothly got their test kits and my mate gagged trying the throat swab, so his Mrs did it for him 😀 she said do it right do it once 😀 and he then did his own nasal bit. Sealed in bag, job done. They are now waiting for results, but his Mrs keeps dropping hints that years of practice hers was easier 😂😂😂

Watched ITV news last night and watched 2 people spoken to at testing station both positive with how itís run, booking and 1 even said the government are trying their best. You could have pushed me over the news showing positive things👍🏻😀😀😀

I won't be shooting you with evidence we all know that we can find stuff to cut and paste to justify our cause.
It's a big problem on this thread

Again as i have said to others , shoot me down with evidence , insults are usually a sign of a lost argument !

Manufactured consent , you and Wayne should look it up , 5 minute video .

If you take the country as a whole the percentage of people who are insulted wouldn't be that great.
It depends what circles you mix in, what media you choose to believe in and how prone you are to confirmation bias.

I remember early on the repeated mantra that no test is better than an inaccurate test. That does seem to have become secondary to meeting numbers now.

Good earlier post about the self testing and it not being done right. From what my sis described I'd imagine most people would be stopping short of what they did for hers...

Testing for current infections is actually meaningless given you could pop in for a pint of milk on your way home and become infected. As a measure for that specific moment in time I understand but without a full lockdown the figures wonít be relevant a few days down the line.
A reliable antibody test is essential, not as a passport to do what the hell you want. But used in conjunction with the swab test to understand the true scale and genetic susceptibilities.
No surprise the countries with the biggest problem have high population and housing density and an Iím alright Jack attitude

Yes I'm sure 100K being a 'nice' number had a lot to do with it, after all It's not like they is an equation you could use that accurately calculates what's possible.

I'd rather people aimed high and fell a bit short than went for the lesser / easy option
I agree with that as well

Why though , all these false promise , you loose faith ! Laura kuenssberg , every night , always offered the first question , the safe option ! these tests are bolloc*s , the false reading percentage renders them useless ,in 2 or 3 days time we will have the 2nd highest death rate in the world and Boris was claiming success today , WHY , are you not insulted .

Oh well what do you know , looks like the facts are,,,, masks are a life saver !

One for Wayne as a pointer , 3 of the worst hit countries , the leaders are political buffoons ,right wing populists , America , Brazil and the UK , that will point you in the right direction , Brazil were a late starter , but are catching up quickly !
