In reply to Post #2806 Bit unfair on Dom there Jon, it’s not as if he bought a field for his mum to put rescue donkeys in.

In reply to Post #2812 She says "I would definitvely say, for Covid19, that there is no need for masks, and there is no need for social distancing".
I don't think many of her peers would agree.

In reply to Post #2810 Unfortunately that's no real guarantee. There's a once respected Nobel virologist who's babbling on about 5g nowadays, can't remember his name..

In reply to Post #2808 Didn't listen to it all, but she doesn't sound much like a credible scientist... She uses words like 'obviously', 'clearly', 'definitely' etc., whereas most scientists are a bit more circumspect, whatever the subject, let alone when dealing with a 'new' virus.
I agree the lockdown is becoming unsustainable, and a general 'get back to work' policy would be better, with targeted local lockdowns in areas or sectors which are infected. But the UK hasn't been able to set up the tracking and testing infrastructure yet.
They were doing targeted local 'pop up' testing of cases and their contacts over 2 months ago in Germany.

Dolores Cahill, has she been bundled with the conspiracy nuts or not, I don't know?
I have only just seen her being interviewed in a video a Mexican friend sent me, had to search out the English version

In reply to Post #2806 just watching the arrogant slimy little sh*t on the news telling photographers to stay 2 m apart and saying he behaved responsibly.
I can hear a fridge door slamming shut in Downing Street now as Boris tries to hide again...

So you can leave home with symptoms and drive 250 miles to see old relatives if your Boris's mate, but you get burned at the stake by the right wing press and fired if you're a pesky scientist who meets a woman he doesn't live with.
And you can fly into the UK, mill around the airport, train stations, busses, tubes, taxis etc ... but then you must stay a fortnight wherever you eventually arrive.
Why are they still making this stuff up as they go along and making such a **** job of it? It's just embarrassing now.
Why not just pick a country doing much better than the UK, christ knows there are plenty to choose from, and just do what they do?

In reply to Post #2800 Should’ve been hung, drawn and quartered the minute he first left the house in ****ing tracksuit bottoms.
If you’re over 21 there’s no excuse to venture further than where your bins are at home in them
