In reply to Post #4779 i guess I'd not read it that way
for me it undermined the whole 'there are less people in hospital' / NHS figures are down from last year' guff that I keep reading / hearing as it explains that the like for like comparison doesn't take into account the changed conditions and circumstances.
but i suppose deniers will always find ways of twisting things to suit their agenda ...

In reply to Post #4777 problem with things like this is, is stokes up the deniers even more. When there are claims of covid patients on beds in the corridors and no room in wards, etc. and then you're told about all the protocol and stuff to ensure secure covid wards, or parts of wards. That doesn't add up...I know sometimes needs must but having unsecure covid positive patients is something every hospital will do their upmost to avoid due to the risks it carries. Sensationalist claims will always put doubt on the real facts of the matter. Deniers will have a field day.

In reply to Post #4763 "" Hi I call myself Wayne, I try to be a bent out of shape troll everyday. I think I'm good at it but I know I'm funny""
You've just heard Wayne's confessional Jon
First steps to sorting the problem are always acceptance. Well done Wayne.

In reply to Post #4768 The fact he helped the richer get richer and the poor get poorer, yes a typical Tory and racist. Geezer deliberately caused a famine in Bengal that killed thousands. Not even Tory behaviour that, just outright C*nty. However great anyone thinks he was, it’s all through denial, he was an awful human being, a racist and murderer.
I suppose the longer it gets from his presence and as more generations couldn’t give a monkeys and learn the real history, the more out of favour he’s becoming and the truth surfaces. As it does with everyone snd everything.

In reply to Post #4767 I've bailed Wayne out? Maybe tried to explain to others what's going on as they don't seem to understand.
Although I have never met Wayne he reminds me of a couple of other people I know, always ducking and diving and making you laugh when you shouldn't but you do anyway.
To me on Non Carp he comes across as just having a bit of a wind up, a bit of a game, says things he means and sometimes doesn't. I think some of us get it but some don't and just throw insults. Throwing insults can be part of a game and is what the Footie thread is built on but sometimes I think I can detect real animosity, if it's not then maybe the insults are outside the rules of the game?
Just for the record I've never had or sent a pm to Wayne. Our only conversations have been on this forums and one that existed many years ago.
