Sorry. I though it was patronising. If it wasn't, my mistake.

Surprised at the dig Jon as my post was meant to be a compliment.

The content of this thread should be a Corona which I'm interested in. I know threads go off topic and I can be guilty of doing that and have some laughs on the way but when people are dying I think it's wrong for people to use it as an excuse to ram their Corbyn views on me over and over and over and over again.

Edit
Just seen your edit. That was funny!

Hi Sir B,

Yes, I would go along with that.
It's actually his political posts in particular that make me laugh.
Although, it would save a lot of effort for his writing, and our reading, if he just wrote about the politicians he actually does like, rather than the long list of those he doesn't.

BB.

If we avoided Covid and politics then Jon would be absolutely fine. We've had some laughs over the years and I'm looking forward to when this is all over and normality is resumed

And you'd be absolutely fine if you stopped moaning about the contents of threads that absolutely no one makes you read if you don't want to, eh?

Edit: although we could do with the return of the bloke in South Africa who posted about using a strimmer as an outboard motor. He was a right laugh.

Is it only me that's noticed that not once has ever posted about fishing. I'd rather here about his French fishing trips and the barn he owns. At least Ocelot contributes to the rest of the forum.

Hi Sir B,

Not much chance of that I'm afraid.
I think he's been fitted with a Duracell battery.
Given the numbers currently posting on forum, we're bound to have one or two
They say each village has one too.

Hi Sir B,

Yes, I quite agree.
Just imagine if you turned up to live on site in a caravan and then found that those you were expected to share it with were:- Spanker, Jon Boy, Ocelot and Tim Richardson.
There is a way out of that nightmare scenario, take your bivvy and live in that.

Hi BB , are you ok , you are not making much sense ,rambling on about shifting the emphasis , momentum and trying to flatter myself , i will ignore that last post and hope that you have recovered today !

The biggest battle for the Tory party this week as most others is to deceive us is , word terminology , after being promised that 100 000 test a day will be undertaken , per day by the end of this month they are try to deceive with the word "capacity " like yesterday they had the capacity to carry out 40 000 test's but carried out only 13 000 , our health care workers attending care and nursing homes are desperate for these test's 1000's of them , so as not to infect the elderly or those homes which equates to a death sentence !

It's like watching six year old's make a cake , just one big mess !

day after day after day after day after day

just a shame it equates to so much misery !

When the supply chain has zero stock and smaller consignments of ppe are being sold by private companies, nhs trusts that have actually got a shortage of kit have a duty of care to the staff and patients to protect them.
The budgets aren’t dwindling as quickly as usual either given cancer patients are being left to die

Yesterday's press conference was better than recent editions, as Chris Whitty gave a bit of info about what the country could expect in the coming months.

But the military bloke was a bit of a disappointment. I think that he should have been dressed like The Brigadier from Dr Who in the 70s, not like a chartered accountant who's going paintballing.

On the subject of Dr Who, given that he was born in 76, is it possible that Gavin Williamson the education sec, is the result of a romanic coupling in a BBC stockroom between Frank Spencer and a lady Dalek?

Kier Starmer did well, but it struck me that he looks just like the bloke on Gogglebox who watches TV in a caravan with an old woman.

In April 2018 the government formed Supply Chain Coordination Limited. The SoS for Health and Social Care is listed as the 100% shareholder for this company, it is a govt company (the shares belong to the post, not the individual). In April 2019 this company took over the NHS supply chain.

So, ultimate procurement control and management is down to a company owned by the Department for Health and Social Care, not the NHS Trusts.

I heard that on the radio as well, also a local was expected to stay on site and was not allowed to use her own car or leave site. I suppose any extras/treats would be obtained by the supervisors or farmer obviously with a little mark up for their trouble 😡😡😡

In theory we could’ve shut up shop and been in the same boat as nz and aus now, but the population density and mentality couldn’t be more different to our little postage stamp and the reprobates living in it.
