Have I missed a couple of days or something. Is it all over?

Our local hand car wash is now open and social distancing guidelines have been withdrawn 😡

Who gets their car washed at the moment by hand and by strangers you don't know!

Had a test like that for meningitis once, I'd rather have an anal probe to be honest

Hope all is well with your sister.

That's very unexpected! and yes that's fine Ken, knock yourself out - saves my sis doing it...

Thanks all for the good wishes. She had the test this afternoon - took them about a day to get to her as she'd first been added to their list yesterday. She said it was pretty horrible - right up the nose and down to the back of the throat. Up to 48 hours wait on the result.

Our government is now telling us we can get Covid 19, recover from it but still NOT be immune from it. however, simultaneously theyíre telling us that a vaccine with the exact same virus ( one they claim they still donít understand) is going to give us that immunity and make us safe. You donít really need to be a scientist to see whatís going on here!!

Wayne, if you listen carefully, the government and scientists are saying lots of things like 'might', 'could', 'would' etc. It's a new virus, they are not sure now much protection having it gives, and they are not certain a vaccine will be developed, but they are hoping it 'could' be a solution. Very little is known for certain.

HIV has been around for ages and still scientists haven't found a vaccine for it.

There were quite a few campaigning against HIV therapeutic drugs in the US a decade ago ... saying the drugs were just money-spinners for big pharma, and it could be managed through diet etc.
You don't hear much of them nowadays, why? Because they're all dead.
