Leaked documents show that hospitals in the North West are at a critical level after the recent upsurge in coronavirus ,

How much are they trying to hide from us !

Sooner or later we are due a crash in house prices as it's been out of control for decades now, there's a fundamental problem when people on average wages cannot afford to buy a house.... History shows us that what has gone up can also come down but don't expect massive drops in value....

https://www.economicshelp.org/blog/5709/housing/market/

TBH if we had a crash in prices and it took say 5 years for it to recover ( this could actually happen with Covid and Brexit and mass unemployment...) then the vast majority of us will not be affected in any bad way. There's a few exceptions obviously. If your selling then the next house you buy will also be reduced so that's not a problem, if your in it for short term profit then you will lose out but then again you knew the risks.

But it's not really a problem at all for the vast majority.

Don't recall saying it was a market crash.

But if £10,000 quid is no worry to you I'll gladly take it off your hands...

So £10,000 is a just couple % fall. Hardly a market crash?

Theyíre just about to raze the Elephant & Castle shopping centre to the ground and gentrify yet another part of London so anywhere in Southwark would be worth a pretty penny or two!
Of course a lot depends on where we go with the dreaded virus but I suspect or hope in a couple of years weíll all be talking about it in the past tense ( until the next one😩 ) and the recovery will begin in earnest with exponential growth, thatís possibly capitalismís Achilles heel, growth growth and yet more growth and guess who gets rich? or should I say richer...... The rich of course!😜
You canít take it with you guys!

Remember that biblical quote that itís easier to thread a camel through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god....... and thats coming from an avowed atheist!

Hey fishie. I'm good thanks mate. Hope you and yours are all good too.

I think you've hit the nail on the head with that. Houses in cities and Northern towns will sell at a reduced price and the more rural stuff will be in demand.

My mate accepted an offer on his London flat ages back. It was all put on hold while the lockdown and stuff took over. The same buyer then said they wanted 10 grand off the price to go through with the sale...

A closer look at the supposed booming housing market shows a lot of properties reduced by thousands. ..

When so many people are facing unemployment the property market can't be immune

re house prices.
our Govt has tried every trick in the book not to let property crash. our whole economy, banking system relies on it.

I imagine that is still the same.
