I found that S2 worked well some places but not others (no idea why), baitroom has caught everywhere and some very difficult waters, (I don't do easy..)

Mitch's baits outfished S2 by a country mile for me when I swapped a few years ago; favourites being tiger toffee, west coast 30 and fat lip, simply take them everywhere, it's one more variable out of the equation imo..

Had the 35.4lb on a single s2 and the rest over a spread of boilies, personally I find if your going to fish a pop up over a spread of boilies then unless your matching the hatch then it doesn't matter what type the spread of boilies are as your fishing an alternative hookbait anyway so use whatever boilies your confident with and fish an alternative bait over the top and see how it goes

Defo give the s2 a go used the 13mm pink crushed cork pop ups recently on a hard lake and on my first session on them I had a 35.4lb mirror which very rarely Grace's the bank and a 33lb common, next time out I had a 31.12lb common and on my 3rd session I had the big common out at 49lb so can highly recommend

I keep seeing these two names Baitroom and UB Baits, come up on the forum now. As I'm just returning to carping, I've checked both sites out and notice they only do hookbaits in tubs. Not a problem with that, but what are you guys who use them fishing over or offering as freebies? Stick or bags of particles or pellets or a different brand of boillie?

I use Both Baitroom & UB

Its odd but on some waters I could not buy a bite on Bairoom but UB are brilliant and Vice versa on other waters

Went to france a couple of years ago and the Baitroom Signal Cray was amazing ... Only had one pot and was reusing the baits had so many fish on them ... Could not buy a bite on other baits !!

But as this thread is about Baitroom .... Yep they are not cheap but in the gran scale of things this is what the carp are interested in and the only reason youll catch is the bait

Cracking baits and Mitch is a real nice fella and well answer questions happily

I used these for a while and they are great baits, when I found ub and paying half the price for my wafters with better results, that was my mind made up. As said Mitchs baits are very good but ub all the way for me

Hi guys,
As an avid user of Mitchs baits i can honestly say for all the money i spend on tackle, syndicate fees, travelling etc....the odd £15 now and then on a pot of his magical little gems is the best money i ever spend as i know full well that if im on fish,my hook is razor sharp and ive settled my line correctly that its only a matter of time before that rod will rattle off at some point because once submerged the bait is working for you.
what you are getting for your dollar is a hookbait totally unlike anything you can buy off the shelf in terms of buoyancy, consistency of product shape but most of all the smell and taste is unrivalled as the minute that bait is submerged its pumping out all sorts of food signals for the carp to detect.
Most pops you buy in the shops are basically just a pop up mix with 5ml or so of flavour and a touch of sweetner and dont do a great deal for the carp to hone in on but with Mitchs baits alot of thought and years of experience has gone into his baits to produce something unique to give you a REAL edge, its the full package of taste palatants, aminos, food sugars,EOs,flavours, stimulants, triggers.
If in doubt just check each baits profile out on his website and see the lengths he goes to or drop him a line and his knowledge will blow your mind.
By the way the baits arent expensive as on the cost front it works out about 26p per bait but if you fish correctly you will probably catch on the majority of baits in the pot so 26p for a virtual guaranteed bite each time you cast out is cheap in my book or go buy some cheap dross in the nearest tackle shop and blank on most of them, most of them are designed to catch the angler.
Use Mitchs baits and you will see the difference for yourself,we are so lucky to have him helping us as these days edges are hard to come by so check him out and change your life!!

Mitch 13m seem slightly small for there size and more like a 12 mm NS1 for example. This is something I like.

Do the 15 come a bit smaller can anyone confirm?

Never used or seen them, but Iím wondering if his prices have gone up so much due to big increases in the cost of the raw ingredients. Maybe the bigger manufacturers are better placed to absorb the increases but smaller businesses need to pass more of it on.

Hi guys,
Ive used Mitch's hookbaits extensively and i cant praise them or him enough.
They are not your usual sweets off the shelf so what you are buying into is a bespoke, perfectly made butt cracker of a hookbait.
Mitch has spent time in the Far East and utilises feeding stimulants both liquid and powdered which big money koi breeders use.
These products are not widely used as they aint cheap to incorporate into carp baits but if youre serious about having that little edge believe me they are worth every penny.
If i had to single one out i wouldnt fish without a Pineapple Pro,very reliable, very buoyant, can be fished over anything and wont let you down.😊

Well done, you picked an obvious one....

What about "A distinct and riotous blend of 3 classic attractors coupled with one of the best fruit amino liquids ever made (imho) and further enhanced with 4 separate sweeteners all integrated with high end flavouring oils. The smell and taste of these little hookbaits is quite magnificent, 24 hours amongst some of the worst silt and rotten vegetation will not taint this heavyweight of fruity mass destruction!"

So it's fruity, right....

"Additive/Attractor pack: NHDC, Talin, Supersweet, Fruit Flavours, Liquid Palatants, Strawberry Oil, Lime Oil, Liquid Fruit Amino Compound, Powdered Palatants, Vanillin, Organic acids, and Iso-Eugenol."

This tells me a bit more but still loads I can't get a feel for in terms of impact on the finished product....

Fat lip -Loaded with New Zealand Full Fat Green Lipped Mussel Extract
Deep Six -The "Deep Six" is the marriage of 6 addtives & attractors with the carp catching classic Squid & Octopus Koi rearer at it's core. A well matched blend of GLM, Krill Hydroslate, Shellfish Sense Appeal
Tiger Toffee & Vanilla - I think this ones pretty self explanatory
Square 1 -Our own unique mix of Cell Activator and Liquid Liver Extracts
West Coast 30 -High grade Tuna Oil, LO30 Style fish extracts and Shellfish Sense Appeal provide the primary attractors

Ive just cut and pasted a few which really is not that hard to work out what they are ... And some like Pineapple and Monster Chilli Crab if this is confusing you then I really dont know what to say

The best hookbaits Iíve used bar none. The red eye and the fizz have been really good for me, a mate uses tiger toffee and catches shed loads, they are expensive but itís worth it in my opinion 👍

Bait room stuff is very good
Brilliant communication from Mitch who is a genuinely nice fella and good angler
Ive done well on all the flavours but have been doing well on the Pineapple lately

And the great thing is when hes getting low on stock or has sold what he can handle for next day delivery he stops the website and says when it will reopen .... Bit like s drug dealer shutting off your supply so you buy more each time

Only thing I would say is delivery is not cheap so make sure your not buying just one thing

Depends what you want from a pop-up Iím not mad personally on perfectly round smooth pop ups. I Prefer a more rugged natural looking pop up or one with texture. Bait rooms are well made no doubting that.

cant recommend the Baitroom enough, the quality of the baits and the great service are IMO worth every penny.

Double Tops are year round fish catchers, along with Tiger Toffee with Krill and Berry and Fatlip being my main go to baits.

Baitroom is very good. Tigernut toffe & vanilla is a very good one. In the short spell I had using ub I wouldnít say thereís much in it on end product quality but definitely on communication. Baitroom are expensive tho think I got 3 pots of matt for the price of couple quid more than one pot of baitroom
