Yeah mate that's the way I see it, was looking at the Teme, I've not fished it in years but for the reasons you mention. I'm sure if it's fishable the lads in Bridgnorth Angling Center can put me on fish. Cheers I'll have a look at Dowles

It's a long time since I fished the Severn but can remember catching in Dowles brook above Bewdley in flooded conditions, it used to be club water but might have changed. There are several small tributaries between Bridgenorth and Bewdley I bet they all back up when the main river is in flood.

I'm booked in staying around Bridgnorth for 3 nights from Monday. Doesn't look great with it in flood and more rain forecast on saturated ground at the weekend. Anyone know of any decent stretches of day ticket river with the chance of decent roach anywhere on the Severn or smaller river's in the area? As far down as Hereford or Worcester. Thanks in advance
