I wasn't talking about me personally fella, most of the time my phone is switched off and left in my motor.

There are so many anglers staring at there phone all the time when they are fishing these days!

I just use it to check in with the missus from time to time, under the

Anyway, anybody know how the bottle floats are used on rainbow these days, looks like it may have changed since the last time I was there, and I think that Mr Koypoo ate most of the ones I made, Avid make em now?

I was just thinking about how nice it used to be when you could go fishing without worrying about phones, social media, whats in the mags and stuff like that.

That's in your head mate. It's only a problem if you acknowledge it. I can and do go fishing without worrying about phones, social media, whats in the mags and stuff like that. It's awesome, you should try it

I wasn't being sarcastic fella, I was just thinking about how nice it used to be when you could go fishing without worrying about phones, social media, whats in the mags and stuff like that.

It is nice to be able to travel from country to country in Europe, and no I don't think that it will change to much, only thing I see is more customs checks and delays at the ports, but at the end of the day, France relies heavily on it's tourist industry and holiday makers from the UK, so we shall see

I can't make out if you're being sarcastic there or not...............
One of the big reasons Brexit is happening is because people are able to travel so freely from one country to another.
Will it effect your fishing in France ? Well you"ll need a passport to get in and out, a driving licence and insurance. So no, no change then.

It's such a shame that life has changed so much, we are not able to travel between countries like we used to without going through so much red tape. And it is about to get a lot worse I think!

Everything to do with fishing these days is all over the internet.

I for one am guilty of reaching for my laptop every time I need find out about something to do with the sport.

I remember back in the day when I used to go fishing with no phone, internet or bugger all.

Happy times that we have all forgotten about now
