The expenses scandal proved that, if they had not been found out via leaked papers they would still be having a swell time, and us lot would be paying for it!
I’m not much of a fan of Boris, but I’ll give him credit – he’s the only one who has shown any real respect for the result of the referendum back in 2016, most of the rest are just borderline “traitors”
In fact I'd have a good few of them paying back all their salaries & pensions from the day of the referendum to when it’s finally implemented, as they have not been doing what they was instructed/being paid to do, plain and simple “Fraud!” It’s called.

In reply to Post #560 Absolutely. WMDS and his dodgy dossier, indeed. Its one thing politicians telling the odd porky (Shock! Horror! Say it ain't so etc) but Blair lied to Parliament and the country so he could have a war in which many, many civilians died.
A bit worse than Boris IMHO - not that I have much time for Boris - but Blair is in a different league.

In reply to Post #547 Political spin? It's hardly a new thing. Do you not remember one Mr T Blair and his army of spin doctors?
It's not exactly a Boris thing. It's been going on for ages.

In reply to Post #553 That's the one, Blankers. Good find. Thanks.
IMO you are obsessed with confirmation bias!
I was in a pub the other day (get away ) and the was a real loudmouth banging on about 'get it done' and 'sick and tired' etc. etc. Rational argument was brushed aside by angry right-wing rants. Then came the piece de resistance:
"I didn't vote," said matey. "Couldn't be arsed...What's the point?"

In reply to Post #555 Fair point
I'm sick of being told that 'the people' just want Brexit 'done' in the hope that we'll accept any pile of s***e masquerading as a 'deal'.
Maybe that attrition of resistance approach is how boris manages to wear his female conquests down but it shouldn't apply to the rest of us

In reply to Post #554 They are all a bunch of liars but you're either not intellectual enough to realise this or to be more kind you suffer from confirmation bias

In reply to Post #552 His point was that he has seen it get much worse since johnson took over so he's not waited so long. Simply observed the recent changes linked to johnson and Co.
Of course, the news that johnson is a liar shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone really
