In reply to Post #643 typical Farage / johnson isn't it?
farage last week - 'We will contest 600 seats against the tories'
farage today - 'er... maybe we won't'
johnson last week - 'we won't be making any deals or concessions with the brexit party'
johnson today - 'er... maybe we will'
pair of bloody s
and Labour and the Tories using today to announce how they're going to give untold riches and flying carpets to all serving and former armed forces personnel? cynical, transparent opportunism.

In reply to Post #642 Well , if i was still a Brexit supporter and Farage had just done that after saying Johnson's deal was horrific i would be rather pissed off

In reply to Post #640 His career as the mep clown has been hilarious, not many clowns earn and live the lifestyle he does.
Actually that's not true, most of our politicians are the same.

In reply to Post #633 Don't muddy the water between facts with statistics, there's a nuanced difference.
The fact is 34 million people were asked a binary question, that only 3.8 million people(at a high point) were arsed enough about to vote for as their primary issue at successive GE's. Thanks for your advice by the way but I'll leave it

Clearly not a reader of Private Eye
I see the great white hope has decided not to stand for parliament this time. I guess after loosing SEVEN TIMES he has realised he is a lost cause.

In reply to Post #637 Maybe you're on to something with initials there Ken
Nigel Farage - very dodgy right wing agenda pretending to be politics...
Jeremy Corbin - seen by many as the saviour but belief across the UK is probably at an all time low...
Boris Johnson - old men would do just about anything to get one. Short term selfish gratification. Not popular with women. Usually a way to just shut people up after weeks of wearing down...
Thankyou - I'm here all week

I will agree with Blojo about one thing (it's the only thing!). A vote for the BP will inadvertently let Corby in.
(Anybody else noticed how close the BP's initials are to that of the disgraced BNP? Coincidence...?
I think we should be told.

You ever considered writing speeches for partly political broadcasts?

No one needs statistics to show that Nigel Frottage is a 100%, nailed on, copper-bottomed ****.
Standing by his Breaking Point poster after a right wing nutter murdered am mp the day it was released, banging on about foreigners before the ref and then crying at bring labelled a racist afterwards, not to mention being so far up Trump's arse that his shoes are level with the end of the orange idiot's tie.
But no ... He's a man of the people! Expensive public school, job in the City with one of daddy's chums, then decades doing **** all on expenses with a MEP salary ... Just like you and I, eh?

In reply to Post #631 As said before you can make stats say a lot of things. I could do it now with some and state them as facts but I won't be drawn into it.
I've already said Farage is a one trick pony so don't bother coming up with anymore Farage facts/stats to get a response.
PS
Not seen you on the footy thread for a while? Come on over and see how you get on with your facts.

You need to realise that people vote completely different in local/ eu elections as to general elections.

In reply to Post #628 Which facts are bollox? 1 MP out of a possible 3,900 in 6 GE attempts? Farage having lost 7 attempts at becoming an MP? A high point of 1 in 8 voters arsed to put their cross in a box of a leave the EU party at a GE?
Just because you don't like the facts doesn't make them bollox. Put your dummy back in.

In reply to Post #622 He's a one trick pony because any of his success has been based on a single track policy.
Nobody ever asks him about policy on education, environmental issues, transport, potholes and manhole covers because there's nothing in his party manifesto beyond his obsession with leaving the EU
For some - it would seem many at times - that's enough.
But not for others.
And scozza.... thanks mate! And I'm always so polite to you!
