Blimey ... this thread seems to have been somewhat abandoned by the No Deal supporters ... where are you boys?

So, as things stand ...

'we can have our cake and eat it' turned out to be cobblers

'we hold all the cards' turned out to be cobblers

'The German car industry will make sure we get a great deal' turned out to be cobblers

'we can carry on with Gatt article 24' turned out to be cobblers

'the EU will give in at the last minute' turned out to be cobblers

'we will never accept different conditions for Northern Ireland' turned out to be cobblers

'we won't pay the 39 billion bill' turned out to be cobblers

..... yet folk still believe the Tories when they say they'll protect workers' rights and won't sell of the NHS to Americans ... good luck with that lads.

Well done, you've ****ed my country.

For someone who is "not arrogant enough to know what's best for everyone else in this country like you" you seem pretty free with telling us what's best for us all.

As for being "frit", I rather think it's the Remainers who are now behaving like headless chickens and spitting their dummies.

Just watching question time

A range of opinions. Some facts. An overwhelming sense of more of the same....

The idiot MEP from the Brexit party coming across as a complete pr*ck talking over everyone ... no redeeming qualities on display

Javed Khan, chief executive of Barnados talking sense. Shouldn't be surprised as he is in a job that looks to benefit others rather than himself.

You lost
I actually won a few Bob on leave @9/2 and 4/1 iirc
People don't decide what's on the ballot paper, parliament does.
I don't do "sides" Noddy, I'm not arrogant enough to know what's best for everyone else in this country like you. So take it back to the people, a genuine negotiated leave option recommended by a Brexiteer Tory government or keep the status quo.Or are you now getting a bit frit? As Maggie would say.

No, the people voted to leave, already, in a referendum. Over 3 years ago. So you think "no deal" can't be an option in a referendum because "parliament has already decided?
In a referendum the people vote, not a few hundred MP's. They have already decided against remain. The people, that is.
You lost.

It's obvious why, it's a Tory Brexit before a GE, has to be that way

If Boris dies in the ditch of his own digging on Saturday (oh the irony). It'll have to be a ratification referendum. Boris' " best negotiated deal" or remain on the ballot. No deals never getting on it as parliament has already decided. Not a fan of referendums but it seems the only way if the Tories have ballsed it up again Saturday.

We have a Govt with no majority that can't govern so clearly we have to have a GE. Steptoe has been demanding one since day one now - not so much. I wonder why?

Clutching at straws there Noddy
It's a Brexiteer Tory deal fair and square and they'll have to as Boris would say "live or die" by it
There's zero incentive for a GE unless you're a Tory, you must see that in the bigger picture

You don't want a general Election then?

Looks to me like the Benn Act might deliver a no-deal exit. Now, that would be ironic....

Looks like the EU are going to say no to any extension which I think means Parliament either votes in the new deal or if it does not we leave with no deal on the 31st. That should stuff the Lib Dems.
End game in sight?

Errr, it is the government because it had a combined total of 328 seats with it's DUP partner's. The Tory government managed to balls up a majority. The Tory zealots didn't vote for their own negotiated deal anyway. So we are where we are. It's pretty obvious what matters to you, reread post 503
