I don't believe he made any promise other than he would look at student debt and yes he admitted he underestimated the level of it.
Now how much of their previous manifesto have the current government carried out, and how much of what they didn't carry out have they actually admitted and how much have they just tried to spin and lie over?

I remember by the time of the 2010 election that the catastrophe created by Fred the Shread, Bob Diamond and all the other feral spiv's had been mitigated. By the rapid and correct strategy of Brown and Chancellor Darling. The option in 2010 for the Tory/ Lib coalition was invest to recover quickly, which other countries did but had no guarantee of success. Or choose a slow and painful (for average Joe)austerity, which we know from experience cut police numbers, hospital investment, school investment etc. Osborne and the Tories conned people that it'd only be a few years, constantly missing self set financial targets so imposing more austerity, 9 years of it and rising....

The global financial crash had very little effect on Countries that had competent Governments in charge at the time – low debt Germany, Canada, China, India etc.....

UK was an utter basket case after 13 years off chronic financial incompetence, fact!
Blair and Brown should be up in court for the sheer stupidity they carried out, selling off all the UK’s Gold Reserves when the price was at an all timer low!

In 2005 we had only just paid off the 61 year 4.3 billion $ Lend/Lease debts to the USA for pulling us out of the poo in WWII, that’s 27 Billion $ in today’s money. Blair was like a kid let loose in a Candy shop as soon as that was paid off, anyone with any sense would have concentrated on wiping out the national debt once and for all.

people always seem to forget that there was a global financial crisis in 2008 that would have hit what ever party was in power and that actually the economy was recovering under labour but then dropped in 2010 as soon as the Tories came in insistant on their austerity agenda, despite it being the opposite of usual economic policy to get out of recession, meaning not only did we suffer more, but recovery took longer, with the super rich getting richer!

Call me cynical but Jezza conned the students last time with refunds on student fees, but admitted after he failed to gain office that he couldn't have funded it if anyway. Now a new target audience the WASPE's we will give you your pensions back that we did nothing to stop the implementation of during the Blair/Brown era!

Just listening to LBC and Len McCluskey defending Labour more passionately than any Labour prospective MP including Jezza. But has just admitted he was wrong denying Anti-Semitism and is now saying that it still is not. WTF is it or is it not?

Indeed and it seems Trump also has much love from Russia!

Boris has promised a vote on his Brexit deal before Christmas, before or after the Russia report is released..no prizes for correct guesses!

I don't think being in bed with trump and accepting Russian cash and interference are mutually exclusive. ...

Labour plan to borrow to the max to bribe their way in. Just like the previous labour government did which left us in such a mess financially. I'm no fan of the tories but the austerity measures were brought on by the mistakes of Blair and brown...

That in turn led to more widespread poverty and anger which let the likes of farage in to exploit it!

Then the tories of course exploited their own position to keep the richest rich and the poorest in the dark...

I can't see past another coalition but god knows who it'll be. ..

The ira and hezbolla backhanders soon accumulate.. especially when the hackney hippopotamus is crunching your numbers.
Still, we will have ‘free’ broadband kindly monitored by the old cardigan and his comrades if the worst happens and labour win.

I thought Boris was in bed with Trump.

Labour has just looked under the money tree and have just found another 58 bullion quid. I am still waiting for them to promise an Aston Martin to every car owner in the country

Or better still refund everyones fishing licence costs

watched question time with Boris saying he chose not to publish the report into Russian interference in the Brexit vote, despite having it since mid October, because he didn't want to slow down process or some jabbering rubbish.
It's painfully obvious that the report would call things in to question and we already know he has received huge funding from Russian Billionaires! It's a disgrace that he can get away with suppressing it until after the election!
