In reply to Post #958 At least someone can follow a thread
No-one on here is stopping you from expressing your opinions Mook. Crack on and get the ones out there that you believe are not sexiest, racist, ageist, homophobic etc that you're moaning about getting labeled as in our society.

In reply to Post #960 Nobody can make predictions without evidence/facts to go on – Brexit has never happened before; how the hell could anyone make a prediction?
E.G. Look at all the “Pie in the Sky” predictions that were made about the referendum if people voted to leave, all proved to be false, wrong, concocted via a broken crystal ball...............

In reply to Post #959 I would love to know how you think Brexit will all unravel , ie , the economic impact on our economy , jobs , say , over a ten year period ?

In reply to Post #958 It started a long time before that, in fact about 31/2” years ago after a Referendum vote did not go the political correct way a few where convinced it would.
The same few still appear to be living in alternative imaginary universe, and probably still will even after today’s vote in parliament.

Get off your fake high horse and understand what's actually being written on this thread. It's insidious by some.

I'm hoping that Boris steps up to the plate and hope a lot of remainers will be pleasantly surprised and expect a lot of leavers will be somewhat disappointed. Noted that the Tories have already stated any minimum wage rise will be dependent on the economy and I expect that to become a common theme with a number of promises.

In reply to Post #948 Honestly I reckon most people will just carry on trying to get through their day to day. Although I can't speak for all and definitely not for labour voters
I do think that when - not if - things take a downturn there will be a lot of 'I told you so' but to be fair that's always the way with politics. You can't keep all the people happy all the time.
I'm hoping for some positive change regarding the environment and genuinely hope that the nasty and devisive politics of the brexit years will shift and become more productive. It is of course dependent on those who now have a large majority stepping up and delivering. Johnson has made a lot of noise about delivering for those who have switched their vote but he's not the best at keeping promises so far.... we can only hope eh?
As for not having any control over things... I'm afraid that's all of us for the foreseeable near future.
At least now there'll only be one place to lay the blame...
