Good old Brexit. The business I currently work for has announced its reviewing its European operations today and the cash conversion cost with England pulling out and the expected impact on the exchange rate it can not sustain its position. I love the corporate bull****. In summary that means we’re out of here soon, followed by a load of others too no doubt

****s. Not to worry we will be alright in around 10 or 15 years time when it’s all settled down

You don't "own" patriotism because of the way you voted in a binary referendum Mook. You just own the consequences. Unless you're peddling something more sinister?

"I meet people from all walks of life’ and the majority of them’ once theyfeel confident make many racist statements and comments. i mean people of poor upbringing a bit like me’ right up to the mega rich’ they all sing the same song."

In which circles you mix is upto you

Fair play, Fred...but if you think this is bad just be thankful you don't support West Ham United F.C. too!

Hi Ken
Not a troll at all , I just see things a lot different than others.
Like you I’ve watched , read , everything about conflicts, even more so WW1 and 2.
Everything is a total mess regarding the EU .
Our country has been invaded by stealth , the divisions are a gaping hole .
I just see history repeating itself over and over again .
I will go more in depth when I have a bit more time to clarify my assumptions .

I do talk to others who have a similar assumption as mine with even more drastic views than mine .
Nothing is going to get better only worse .
We have come no further as a species than caveman times and that’s worrying .

what i regularly display on here is my patriotism and belief in my country to hold their own’ not propped up by europe or anybody else. you trying to portray me in a way that is both racist and bigotry’ is because i have opposing views to you’ like many others that have posted here.
the reamainers lost’ stop being a bad loser and try and give it a chance’ just like me. brexit could make or break my businesses. the businesses are varied so it’s difficult to predict how they’ll fair. we had numerous debates about it’ some who knew i was a leaver strongly disagreed’ the majority though’ after a lot of thought it a good option.
none of us have a crystal ball’ i do have faith and passion though. i’m too old to see if things flourish for the country’ unless it happens really quickly. if i’m around to see it possibly fail’ i’ll take that on the chin too. i don’t know your age but i’m sure if you were around and aware of the country when we were independent’ you would have a lot more faith and belief in brexit.

you need to get used to racism and other culture differences though, it will never go away, in fact from what i’ve seen it’s getting worse. you don't have to agree with it or like’ just be aware it’s not going away.
If this country was full of al’l and only black people’ with a single culture and religion’ or only asian people with one religion and culture’ or only white people with a single religion and culture’ you will never here of racism in that country. maybe homophobia’ or semitism’ and sexist and ageist’ no racism though.
however past governments through all kinds of actions’ decided we would be multi racial and multi cultural.
unfortunately it hasn’t worked’ they know and we all know it but’ many are trying to stamp it out which i admire but’ can’t help thinking it’s a pointless exercise.
i meet people from all walks of life’ and the majority of them’ once theyfeel confident make many racist statements and comments. i mean people of poor upbringing a bit like me’ right up to the mega rich’ they all sing the same song.
i have been subject to racism too. one example was a few years ago we needed some big pots and steamers for a function. i was told about an indian wholesaler that would stock them. me and two colleagues
Visited the place’ the whole town and cash and carry were indians only. we were the only whites’ we walked in and were stared at like we were outlaws. we found the pots and pans, and asked somebody behind the counter the price. None of them were speaking english’ so we asked them to speak english. it got really nasty after that’ what are you people doing here’ theres nothing for your sort here’ in english, they told us we were the wrong colour. then they mumbled in their language. a woman came from the back and asked what we wanted’ i was tempted to just walk out but’ we needed the pots. she did us a deal and half apologised saying the men thought we were robbers.
Once we got out of there’ obviously relieved, a colleague said’ just imagine what would happen if a gang of white blokes treated three indians like that.
that’s one of a few examples’ if you want to start shouting about racism’ maybe look at it from all races. you don’t hear much of whites being racially abused’ as they laugh it off and don't make it a big deal. my staff have warned some foreign employees about spitting and blowing snot on the floor. often they threatened with the race card.
so do me a favour’ preach elsewhere.

i encourage my students to ask questions. then i encourage them to ask more and seek out as many viewpoints as possible. it's simple. that way they can widen their viewpoint rather than have them narrowed by propaganda. i challenge bigotry / racism / homophobia etc. as that's an important part of my job, but i never replace their viewpoint with mine.

as for you not agreeing with my views, then i'm relieved. given what you regularly display on here I'd be the one that was worried if i felt that we were aligned in our opinion....

tinhead - fair point. but i could still be on to something....

i find it quite worrying that you are a school teacher’ as you have plenty of time to influence innocent youngsters with your views’ most of which i’m sure i wouldn’t agree with. i bet you take on the roll as part teacher part politician’ giving your opinions as fact and correct.
as for my business’ i have very little to do with the running of them’ or hiring and firing. i do know the amount of money these racial conflicts cost the businesses though.
some take sick leave because of stress waiting for court dates, full pay and benefits obviously’ from the company kitty. then managers and supervisors are often called as witnesses. it’s problems like this that are not good for any business.

reading your post - and between the lines - something struck me in your comment

' i want to point out that i employ a lot of people at various companies. there is a big mix of race, culture and religion’ and it has generally not worked and caused many problems.'

Given your apparent attitude toward a mixed society, perhaps you should look at the common denominator in your statement. It's little surprise that it hasn't worked if you are the employer there...

Can I refer you to my earlier post - number 1141?

The last few years has shown me how many flakey peopl there are in the uk. since brexit a few days ago’ i have heard many saying racism will increase, and cultural conflicts will also get worse. i don’t know how true that is, none of us do’ but many will see the country making its own rules’ and controlling borders as racist’ and relevant to culture.
I don’t think racism will ever cease’ no matter what country we’re in’ and despite the government claiming we are multi cultural, which we might well be’ it clearly doesn’t work. We are not all meant to inter mingle and embrace each others culture and religion, and the majority of the time’ the majority of us does not and never will.
If we all came back on earth in 500 years time, if man hasn’t killed it by then’ there would be racism and culture conflict, as long as there are different cultures and races in a country, it will exist’ and the smalker the country’ the worse it becomes.

before i get labelled a racist or bigot again, i want to point out that i employ a lot of people at various companies. there is a big mix of race, culture and religion’ and it has generally not worked and caused many problems.
Some of the racists are white born and bred british, some are asian immigrants, some are black immigrants and many white eastern europeans. there doesn’t seem a main race that they target, it just random, and its got worse every year.
a solution might be for me to only employ one race and religion but’ then i’m the racist. People are interviewed’ and if suitable are offered jobs, no favours or prefs.

the main reason i voted out of the EU because of the numbers pouring in, if that doesn’t stop’ then we will never make any steps forward.
the comments from remainers saying their future and kids future’ is ruined by something they did not vote for.
thats ********. i remember before we joined, the country was better then’ it had substance and respect. many of us had it forced on us, and we endured 47 years of **** and being treated as such’ lost all of our industry and everything else, the had to let a lot people in, coming from terrible countries’ wanting some of our nice little island, that soldiers fought and died for, and what our ancestors worked so hard for’ to make it a great country.
now look at it’ an overcrowded angry racist ****hole.
the flakey negative remainers need to have a bit of faith and stop bleating like scared little lambs’ and have a bit of spirit like our ancestors did.
another thing i notice now, is the people bleating have interests in europe, some have property there, and some that voted don’t even like in the uk. they have just been getting fat too long on their europe ties, whilst the uk is getting worse by the day. shame on those people’ selfish *******s.
we’re out now, so all the little lambs need to get used to it’ or piss off to europe and create space for us that live here and believe in our country.

Fred: I have met you and really enjoyed your company. You were a great laugh for the week we fished together and Tat and I had a superb time. Funnily enough you showed no signs then of your hidden internet trolling abilities You kept them well hidden!

Just thank your lucky stars you are not a political reporter trying to get some semblance of truth rather than lies out of this government.

The Dom and Lee show has begun...Did you ever see such a nasty looking pair of enforcers (sorry : Advisors!) Free speech...Yer arse!

I am not so worried about Bexit (it's over...get used to it) as I am about the increasing Nazification of this great country of ours. Never have I know such hatred and division. I did European history 1850-1950 for my O Level and from what I recall (it was a long time ago) the attitudes and divisiveness in the UK today shows a remarkable similarity to Germany in 1933 onwards. It leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth. I'll hopefully be dead before the full impact of Brexit and 10 years of this buffoon will become clear. Thank God for that.
