Lets get Brexit done ! , lets make this country great again , sorry lads , i just fell off my chair laughing ' you lapped it up , i honestly hope it works out , being in the building trade , if it goes ti#s up , i will suffer first ! how could you vote for Johnson , I knocked on doors for 10 hours yesterday and listened to some twisted logic as to why the poorest parts of Bolton are voting for the very people that have crapped on them 9 years of suffering , to be told it was a mistake , is your blood not boiling ,

No one in Labour is taking responsibility for their appalling loss and total misjudgement of the UK electorate. It wasn’t their policies, leader or lack of enthusiasm apparently it was everything else 😀

Swinson had the decency to resign right away and not wait for little padowan clones to be manufactured and moulded over Xmas in the shadow of the Leader JC 😘 Will McDonnell, Gardiner and McClusky have the decency to resign as well?

At least JC will have time to get his allotment up to scratch for the spring 😀

You mean the man you helped put in No10 and leader or the tribe is a traitor? As far as I remember Johnson voted at least twice AGAINST UK government deals to leave the EU and respect the referendum result

This has never been a fair fight , This is from the Israel'i newspaper "Heraatz " the level of bias has been unbelievable ,terrorist sympathizer , Hamas sympathizer, i can't believe how undemocratic the whole event has been ,or since Corbyn appeared ! nothing ever good comes from this level of bias from our press and media , it's all been lies , a political assassination !

Haaretz Weekly Episode 51Haaretz
>> Why Britain's chief rabbi had no choice but to speak out against Corbyn ■ The real reason 'anti-racist' Corbyn can't deal with anti-Semitism

Born in South Africa and a graduate of Har Etzion Yeshiva in the settlement of Alon Shvut, Mirvis is the voice of British Jewry. In Capetown, Johannesburg and Har Etzion, he should have learned what apartheid was and why one should fight it. His parents did so, but one doubts that he learned the moral lesson from the regions of disenfranchisement in which he lived in South Africa and the West Bank.

As opposed to the horrid Corbyn, Mirvis sees nothing wrong with the continued occupation; he does not identify with the struggle for Palestinian freedom, and he doesn’t sense the similarity between the South Africa of his childhood, Har Etzion of his youth and Israel of 2019. That is the real reason that he rejects Corbyn. The Jews of Britain also want a prime minister who supports Israel – that is, supports the occupation. A prime minister who is critical of Israel is to them an exemplar of the new anti-Semitism.

Corbyn is not an anti-Semite. He never was. His real sin is his staunch position against injustice in the world, including the version Israel perpetrates. Today this is anti-Semitism. The Hungarian Viktor Orban, the Austrian Freedom Party and the extreme right in Europe are not the danger to Jews. Corbyn is the enemy. The new and efficient strategy of Israel and the Zionist establishment brands every seeker of justice as an anti-Semite, and any criticism of Israel as hatred of Jews. Corbyn is a victim of this strategy, which threatens to paralyze and silence Europe with regard to Israel.

Andrew Neil and Jeremy Corbyn interview - דלג
British Jewry might not be faking its anxiety, but it is certainly magnifying the danger. There is anti-Semitism, though less than what is presented, certainly on the left. About half of British Jews are considering fleeing if Corbyn is elected. Let them flee. The survey that showed this could actually encourage anti-Semitism: Are the Jews of Britain conditionally British? To whom is their loyalty?

The future of all British Jews is much more secure than the future of any Palestinian living under the occupation, and even more secure than that of any Arab living in Israel. Jews are persecuted and are victims of discrimination and racism less so than the Palestinians in the Israel they hold dear. Moreover, Islamophobia in Europe is more common than anti-Semitism, but people talk about it less.

British Chief Rabbi Ephraim MirvisBritish Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis gives a speech as he attends a Holocaust Memorial Day Ceremony at Central Hall Westminster, Tuesday Jan. 27, 2015, in London.AP
Mirvis presents no evidence of Corbyn’s anti-Semitism. It sufficed for him to note the fact that Corbyn described as “friends” those who “endorse the murder of Jews” – a reference to Corbyn’s comments on Hezbollah and Hamas. Corbyn is indeed a very harsh critic of the occupation, supports the boycott and compares the closure of Gaza with the siege of Stalingrad and Leningrad. These are anti-Israeli positions, but not necessarily anti-Semitic. The Jews of Britain are blurring this difference as are many Jews throughout the world, intentionally. One can (and should) be a harsh critic of Israel without being anti-Semitic.

If the Jews of Britain and their chief rabbi were more honest and courageous, they would ask themselves: Isn’t Israel’s brutal occupation policy the strongest motive for anti-Semitism today? There is anti-Semitism, it must be fought, but it must also be recognized that Israel supplies it an abundance of excuses and motives.

The Jews and Israel’s true friends should hope that Corbyn is elected. He is a statesman who can change international discourse about the occupation and the struggle against it. He is a ray of hope for a different world and a different Israel – and what more could we want

Yeh, but then he totally respected the referendum result

Unlike some of his other Tory tribe, but from what I've just seen - every single one of the Referendum "Traitors" has lost in every seat they put up for election in - good stuff

Well, it's a sad day for the Liberals and the liberals...

Mind you, it's good day to be retired with a few bob tucked away in the city and the pound is soaring against the Euro. (Blankers::@ I'd say wait a week...the € will only weaken IMHO).

So, predictions, anybody?

...Well I dreamt that we will get the Conservatives by default and with a working majority. Both Corbyn and Swinson have become more and more toxic as the campaigning has progressed. I don't see the SNP being as strong and they think they are and neither they not the Lib-Dems will command enough seats to hold the balance of power (either left of right). Farage will creep away with his tail between his legs only to resurface post-election as the head (unappointed!) of his new Reform Party (as if we need another Farage-lead political party!). The DUP's days in the spotlight will be over. Too much will have been made of tactical voting, which will not work this time around.

Brexit will happen by the end of 2020 with a totally ****ed up "deal" the long term (2-3 years) effect of which will be another GE, this time with Jess Philips as leader of the Labour party. Corbyn will be assigned to the history books and will retreat into obscurity along with any resurgent militant Labourites.

Boris's "deal" will see chaos an disorder throughout the UK which will result in him being kicked out after losing his Uxbridge seat. Instead a more moderate leader of the party will need to trying his or her best to stem the sweeping tide of compassionate Labour policies under Phillips.

Meanwhile Trump will loose the 2020 election to Elizabeth Warren and with her and Jess at the head of the Atlantic Pact countries, we will see a lessening in tensions throughout the world....Then I woke up!

Still, at least the £ will strengthen making trips to Euroland much cheaper. The € will weaken quickly post-election so hold your fire before exchanging £s to €s prior to the French trip. Wait until it reaches €1.30 then get in quick as it will fall again quickly.

The city will react positively in the short term following the GE but the FTSE will not be able to sustain high numbers for too long. Buy now and get out in 6 months .

Conservatives by default and with a working majority ... check

Both Corbyn and Swinson have become more and more toxic as the campaigning has progressed...check

I don't see the SNP being as strong and they think they are and neither they not the Lib-Dems will command enough seats to hold the balance of power ... check (OK first bit wrong but the SNP can forget about balance of power and 2nd Scottish independence referendum).

Farage will creep away with his tail between his legs ... check

The DUP's days in the spotlight will be over ... check

Too much will have been made of tactical voting, which will not work this time around ... check

The £ will strengthen making trips to Euroland much cheaper ... check

The city will react positively in the short term following the GE ... check

Anyone want to know the Lottery numbers!

Now all I want is to see is Boris drown in the sea of lies he has used in this GE; see the back of Corbyn; see Jess installed in his place and see Trump fail abysmally. Populism, as was the case with fascism, will be a short term but dangerous fad and in time a more liberal democracy will return... Sadly I will have shuffled off this mortal coil by then.

agree with the above Boris is a knob, JC a dangerous fanatic, Swinson still thinks she's PM on a second vote, Sturgeon showed her true nasty self and Farage is almost as bad as JC.

Best of a bad bunch won but liked his quote this morning "Lets get breakfast done!"

Wrong

Jake Berry has always been a staunch endorser of Brexit

Not has if it matters now anyway, Labour have got massacred, and so have the Liberals.

I wonder if the likes of Gina Miller, Phil Hammond, John Major, Anna Soubray, Tony Blair etc... will ever show their faces again, the result shows once again just how utterly out of touch the political class are with the general public!

The Conservatives win

Corbin says he will not stand in the next general election. Music to my ears, out with the **** for me, he’s done

The only thing I can hope for is a Labour Party reform and they find a genuine, proper and inspirational leader this time instead of a

Boris Johnson, what a ****
