In reply to Post #2140 I think the same could be said for most international sides regarding top quality players. I don’t mind Southgate and I think we should stick with him, he needs to stop playing with the 3 at the back though, ain’t working. We should just play like we do in the premier league, high tempo and attacking football, reckon we could beat most teams, at least they would be exciting games.
As for transfers, well done Hazard, he has showed his commitment in an average Chelsea side for a while now, great player, deserves better.
There gonna be some cash flying around now £££££££££££££££££££££

In reply to Post #2139 It's simple really. England's first eleven probably wouldn't get into the top 4 in the premier league. Maybe not even top 6.
Holland have the best defender in the world while England have the best in Leicester!
There are some good youngsters coming through and I think Southgate will build around them.
Looking at the transfer news and the prospect of arsenal, Chelsea and maybe spurs and united losing their best players this summer if eriksen and de gea follow Ramsey and hazard abroad... Another 2 horse race next year...

In reply to Post #2138 Agree on all points. At England level I question Sterling’s overhaul contribution, we just don’t get the ball, or decent ones to Kane
I’m not for this passing in the 18 yard area either all the time, asking for trouble, and we got it from two errors. Back to 4 at the back for me, possibly 4,5,1

In reply to Post #2137 The midfield is the major issue if you ask me and i don't really see how you fix it. Ok so creatively TAA was a miss, and maybe if he comes back as strong as he was the OX would help, but sterling is too erratic to be relied on and no one else in that midfield seems to have the creativity.
Looking to win on set pieces alone just isn't good enough. The game went 120mins and our last shot on target was at min 54. So we went 66mins without troubling the keeper, its pathetic.

In reply to Post #2135 Back to the drawing board I’m afraid, it’s not working, tactically rubbish too, all the possession in our own half, again just couldn’t see us scoring, embarrassing mate
