I think Utd need a proper centre forward like Kane. Rashford and martial both want to come in from the wings rather than through the centre. Thing is that at the moment who's going to go there? They're not going to attract the best players at the moment. Never got the fuss about welbeck to be honest.

They need a new defence as well. And the quicker they ditch pogba the better. He's only half as good as he thinks he is and doesn't deserve the astronomical wage he's on. He's just trouble. I can't imagine there's much respect for him amongst the rest of the squad.

Owen was great. I saw him come on for collymore in his first game down at selhurst when I was living in London (don't tell the cockernees) and he got a massive cheer when he scored. Better than a goal every two games is hardly inconsistent and we did win a treble with him and Fowler in 2001. Think we won 5 trophies that year with the super cup and charity shield. He was never quite the same after his big hamstring injury but still stuck them away. They might not have won the league but both definitely made big impact.

As for others, it's not an easy one. Raul at Madrid? Del piero? Does Messi count? In this country I'd say Kane has been the key player for the spuds. He's home grown isn't he?

Exactly that Mal

Need a quality striker too. Itís alright playing the kids and Iím all for it but winning clubs have winning habits and thatís scoring goals, too inconstant up front Martial and Rashford unfortunately. They went the same with Welbeck and it did not happen, need to put them out 9n loan for me, get them scoring and get their confidence up. Thereís a massive ask upon them to score and deliver

Hereís one for you, name the successful young strikers who have come through and made an impact at big clubs where they started out. Iím struggling to think of one. Micheal Owen? he was inconsistent and they won **** all with him up front. Robbie Fowler? Danny Welbeck?

For me you have to think Aguero or Suarez for example and then you think how close the completion is and itís way off in UTDs case

Fred really is absolutely pants isn't he?

That free kick at the end was ridiculous. I reckon the ball landed closer to Brazil than he's ever been...

I watched some prematch interviews and commentary. They were saying they donít think he will do much the rest of the season until he puts the team together he wants. JM also complained about the defence saying they are too small and basically not good enough

To be fair he can put a winning team together even if itís not the best football on the eye and will cost the club a fortune

True

But mourinho is a muppet. What was all that business with him throwing ndombele under the bus then saying he was incredible? His man management is awful

You think you'll do anything in the transfer window?
