He will rematch aj definitely, clause in the contract, plus where else will he get anywhere near that kind of money? He may end up stripped of one of the titles before hand but I still expect him to accept that rather than take a mandatory. He loses the mandatory then his huge payday has gone without doubt. I bet the wheels are already in motion arranging it
He gets a couple of hundred k to fight anyone else, a few mill to rematch aj. My bet is Cardiff around November time

If its AJ ruiz he's talking about Gerry then its in the contract AJ has 30 days to respond. I know the WBO belt has a mandatory due september which trumps any rematch clause. Dyllian is number 1 for that mandatory so who knows. Bloody exciting though !

That's just it Chris, fury has caught many a fighter clean and not rocked them at all. He just doesn't have the power of a man his size. You are very much in the minority regarding kt, she landed some quality shots but never had her opponent in any kind of trouble whereas it looked like she could have been stopped on a couple of occasions, and looked shell-shocked many other times

Fury is a boxer, not a banger Iím quite sure he could lay most people out when the opportunity arises been near on 20 stone lol

Interesting people thoughts on KT, I thought her opponent was just trying to walk here down and suffered counter after counter after counter, 4 or 5 shots at a time, ah well she got the win and deserved it for me

Interested to see what happens next between Ruiz and Joshua

Absolutely jeff, fury is technically the best hw out there by a long way. If he carried more power then he'd be unbeatable imo, but that lack of the big shot means his opponent has 36 minutes to catch him. Just look at the wilder fight, really only made 2 mistakes and ended up sat on his ass both times. He keeps his concentration, he wins against all of them, but he gets tagged then it could be a different story.
Katie really didn't have a good night, and tbh I don't think it was her being off but her opponent being too physically strong, and not having the already beaten mentality some of her previous opponents have.

Thats the first time katie gas been hurt and she didnt like it one bit , she certainly wasnt close to winning that , disgusting scorecards ! She will not relish that rematch .Have said it since first saw joshua as an amateur when pricey put him down sparring , awful defence too slow and one dimensional, fury so much better technically , smith a great fighter in a cracking division.

That's heavyweight boxing for you, one shot can change the tide massively. Seems to take aj way too long to recover. He was looking to take ruiz out and got caught. Always a risk in his fights. Rematch will be a stadium over here, November time, and he will regain his belts, and will still be the cash cow of the division. He was always vulnerable, this just proved how much.
Smith, great performance although an obvious outcome
Taylor, she wasn't even close to winning that fight. She was outmuscled and out scored throughout and benefitted from some of the worst scorecards for a long time. Says a lot when the British pundits were giving her a couple of rounds max. That has to be a rematch and I'd be surprised if one of the governing bodies didn't order it

It's now Ruiz...... Hold my belts.
To me AJ looks totally and utterly disinterested even now after the lose in his interviews he needs some hunger and desire in him.I think the rematch will happen but in the UK

Lots of shocked Mexican fans in MSG last night. Great night and well worth the trip.

For me Katie Taylor didnt win that fight but what a fight. PBK was also beaten in my opinion

Now to limp home with a bit of a hangover
