In reply to Post #541 It's not the first time he's made that sort of comment either. Man is an ********. Hope he gets beat too but it's not happening, not by brezeale anyway

In reply to Post #541 Thought that myself Gerry
It’s a brutal sport with brutal people. I think he has lost the plot myself
Whyte could not fight anybody more dangerous than Wilder, he is seriously hittable, even though I like the fella

In reply to Post #537 After Wilders disgusting comments about killing someone in the ring Gggrrr Boxing does not need comments like that and I hope action is taken and he gets fined ....he has gone right down in my eyes
AND I hope he loses and gets his ears boxed off
we all know with his windmill punch power he has the ability to knock anyone out so agree its unlikely he will lose but no harm in hoping

Wilder vs. Breazeale this weekend
Just seen the latest. Breazeale claims he will take Wilder out in 3. And Whyte says he wouldn't be surprised if he knocks Wilder out. I will say wait until Wilder lands one and then see what happens

In reply to Post #535 It sure was. I think it was Hearn that put a dent in Haglers forehead which p155ed him off.
He certainly did put him away.
One of my old mates who used to box did exactly the same to a bouncer who was telling him in no uncertain terms to drink up.......

In reply to Post #534 Hearns and Hagler, what a fight that was
Chisora made me laugh a while ago with the red baseball “WAR” cap on Haglar style
As for JF, great warrior. The thing that impressed me the most was he was was hanging around the 10 stone mark and he sparked an 18 stone bouncer out in the USA, awesome lol

In reply to Post #533 Same here mate, fantastic era was that.
Edit - Thomas Hearns was my favourite.
Also back in the day what a fight Azuma Nelson v Jeff Fenech was and as the commentator said ‘you could put these two in a phonebox’ such was toe to toe stuff.

In reply to Post #532 Mayweather, different class imho
Duran gave him the beating of his life first time around. There were 3 other good fighters in that era, Hearns, Hagler and Duran which made it a bit of a golden era for me
