An old thread but does anyone know who runs the lake on the rhs as you enter Westmoor. It has a caravan on it and I'm told it can be booked for a few days at a time.

Just looked at the other one in caistor, definitely not the same place. That place is tiny. Wouldn’t drive two minutes to fish that, let alone 2 hours

Exactly the same thought that went through my head when I saw the venue... must be the same place, think it’s the one with the silly fb photos

Not the same place, I knew about the other one. This is a relatively new fishery, opened early last year. It’s an old trout fishery I believe. And the fish are English and really quite pretty going by Facebook, lovely fully scaled English carp.

Is that caistor lakes with the silly wheel on the island and on a caravan park?

The lakes a puddle with French illegal imports and be prepared to sit looking straight into the bloke opposites bivvy 40 yards away.

On the plus side all the swims have electric sockets.
