In reply to Post #6 As with most things it's more down to confidence than anything else. I'm sure if I used PVA bags more I would gain more confidence in them

In reply to Post #6 I've tied them and seen how they breakdown in my pond when it's cold but the waters not freezing over most are terrible at breaking down .. leave a bucket of water outside and test.. it does seem different break down speed in tap water to pond /rainwater for some reason..

In reply to Post #5 You'd think so, but that's not the case at all

In reply to Post #1 I think any decent PVA melts almost all times of the year, the water is starting to warm very slightly now too which will help. I will be honest though, I do use more mesh than bags in the winter just for confidence as even when real cold there is less of it to melt 🤣

In reply to Post #3 System works well. The only downside for me is the overpriced fox pva, I just use Ebay alternatives to good effect.

Now then all I’ve started fishing solid bags with this system...however my only concern is will the pva melt at this time of year? I know they are due to release a fast melt system and spare bags etc...I’m going shorty that’s all and will be using the original system but I don’t want my pva not to met and leave big blobs et
