Moores Total looser. Still, anything's better than the Wheelie Bin

Also PM's appointment rules out once and for all any return for the genius that is Kevin Pietersen. Sad day for cricket, sadder day for England. The people behind KP's sacking and this knee jerk appointment should be taken outside the Long Room and shot.

Wonderful to see the Aussies collapse like that. 10 for 90 after 126 for 0 start! Johnson 3 for 121 in 40 overs (both innings)...Love it!

13 wickets in the match costing ten runs a piece!

We don't look so bad now!

They are 49 for 3 atm. Johnson 2 for 21...

I will tend to look more kindly on our performance down under if the Aussies do the business in SA!

SA's second innings will be interesting!

Will Johnson rip through them again?

I cannot wait for his biography!

One good thing..the County Championship should be a bit lively this year. Take a guess at who will be top of the batting averages this season.

It'll soften the blow

How much will his sponserships drop by though?

Seems to be a lot of knee-jerk reactions happening, and a lot of scapegoats being put forward. We'll probably find out the real reasons a few days before the next series starts!

something had to change.

Agreed. But the change should have been of captain, coach and batting and bowling coaches. To kick out KP is just madness, but no doubt he'll now be laughing all the way to the bank, as this leaves him free for the IPL. 3-4 million for 8 weeks work. Lovely-jubbly.

On the plus side it was easy to get Saturday tickets for the oval test

Tbh I thought either this would happen or he would be made vice captain, he never looked part of the group in Aus, something had to change.

cook is a talented batsman, who i believe would be better concentrating on batting and relinquish the skipper's job
The added pressure of being skipper has affected his batting performance.
Who would i have as skipper?
god only knows
