Yep, great game!
Even better when you are sipping a cold beer or 6 at the home of cricket on the final day
I'm not getting ahead of myself and predicting anything life changing happening against Australia

In reply to Post #152 Ahh but the brat would bat at 4 5 or 6, not where England are struggling
Great to see some aggressive batting after the obligatory 1st test 1st innings collapse

This is crunch time for more than one England player, not least the captain...and he's out cheaply already, as is Bell. Root will score a ton on this wicket and Stokes is a good battler. Stokes in ahead of Moeen...here's why:
...batting change wasn't a deliberate move by England - Moeen Ali was batting in the nets and couldn't get his kit on in time to make it out there. Shambles doesn't do it justice - if this series is Paul Farbrace's audition for the permanent job of England coach, that's the equivalent of fluffing your first line and then tripping over part of the set.

As an England fan i have one thing to say:
COME ON NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA!!!!
7-0 thrashing with no lubricant is the ONLY way to get rid of cRaptain Cook.
What England desperately need now is a world class batsman capable of scoring over 300 runs* shame there wasn't one available for selection before this test

In reply to Post #146 See they replaced Cook with Eoin Morgan for the ODI side. Move in the right direction.
Bet you wish you'd never posted that, eh?
See Downton has been sacked. There's hope for KP yet!...In fact, if they'll give Trott a place on a tour, then anything's possible!

In reply to Post #147 Another player out of form as well ........ But who else is there.
Don't know if we should be changing captains this close to a World Cup .
We will see

And already people are giving him criticism, saying his record is worse than cooks and how have they come to that decision? but in my eyes he's a more rounded one day player who can and will win games
